Japanese Girl Is A Better Drummer Than You

dannym3141 says...

Those glasses that she wore - are they for fashion or a medical condition i wonder? They look really heavy duty and a bit where's wallyish to boot, but i know Japanese fashion can sometimes appear unusual to a westerner and vice versa i'm sure.

Unrelated but it makes me remember when i first reluctantly got glasses as a kid, my dad just picked some random frames that he'd pick and they were huge and hideous, i was mortified and nearly in tears. What i can only assume was my fairy godmother interjected from across the room, clearly not wanting me to wear a bully's target and said "he's got a small face, he needs thin ones" and showed me a bunch that i actually ended up liking. Forever grateful whoever and wherever you are!

Women's Gun Advocate's Hilariously Hypocritical Testimony

Xaielao says...

This women entered the room clearly believing the bullshit from the right that 'NAZI LIBERALS WANT TO FORCEFULLY TAKE YOUR GUNS AWAY!!!!' She got rolled. No need to mention the fact that a women with a gun in her home is more likely to die from that gun than kill an intruder, or that under the proposed laws the woman in her story would still be able to legally own a shotgun.

And that photoshop, lol. Craptastic! looks like it was done by someone with little skill or thrown together in five minutes.

How Not To Deploy A Flashbang in Room Clearing

Jon Stewart Slams Bill Bennett On Gay Marriage

peggedbea says...

"1. Taxes and insurance are not the only benefits provided by marriage. In an emergency room, people who are not considered immediate family by the hospital are barred from seeing patients. Information concerning the patient is also withheld from anyone who is not immediate family." this is simply untrue.

i am in an emergency room right now and noone here has any problem with anyones friend or gay lover or neighbor coming to see the patient. as long as the patient WANTS that person in the room. and if the patient were in critical condition and we needed the room cleared out to work on the patient we would kick god himself out of that room while the patient was being stabilized. after that though its free reign. the only limitation is 2 people at a time and the patient must say its okay for you to be there. also, we dont give information to ANYONE, immediate family or otherwise unless the patient expressly writes the name of the person on a special form and signs it. (unless of course the patient is a minor) its called HIPPA.

in the case that the patient is in a state where such consents cannot be expressed, we will take any information we can get about the patient but will not release information (that isnt obvious, like obviously your boyfriend is in a coma) or allow anyone without a legal right to make decisions about the persons healthcare. (this is why advance directives are important!!!!!)

It's more like "moving" and "wobbling." Not really "vibrations."

In reply to this comment by ant:
Couldn't it be vibrations if it was on a low stand or something?

What I meant is: The camera is obviously not on the ground. Somebody is holding it, as evidenced by the camera shake. Silly Goose.

Dunno.

...and the camera is floating? or is the ground moving?

In reply to this comment by ant:

I don't think there is someone behind the camera. Just a camera on the ground.

Proper Military Room Clearing / Dynamic Entry Procedure

Ghostly says...

>> ^MarineGunrock:
Almost. The instant you yell, you let the guys in the room know you're outside their door. Other than that, their technique looked pretty good, though it's hard to tell from a POV of one n without seeing the whole group in action.

I didn't see them yell outside any closed doors (except that time that the shotty failed to open one). Chances are outside an open door people inside will have heard you anyway no? also in the case of the shotty failing.

Not gonna argue with the POV comment, but they did show more than one view of the each room, and more than one POV of the each room also so far as I could tell, which surely helps.

Ahh, this somehow reminds me of metal gear.

'!'"What was that noise?"

maybe if they just got a really big cardboard box..

Like a fridge box, or something along those lines.

>> ^MarineGunrock:
Never mind kicking the door down. Anyone on the other side of that wall would just shoot right through it.
