Give a Little Love - Noah and the Whale, live on the street

A rollover without music is a rollover not worth having!>> ^taranimator:

I read a funny comment on YouTube -- normally when you survive a rollover you don't get out and start jamming.
Until then I hadn't noticed it either.

Completely failed to notice the car on its side until just now.

On Charter Memberships (Sift Talk Post)

The only time ads on here that have ever really bugged me was when an accidental rollover would cause them to grow and cover half the window. I haven't seen those in a while and I don't miss them. Ads popping up inside videos is bad enough.

I like the idea of offering rewards for participation in the community.

@dag, if you are distribute the equivalent of charter member privileges to star levels, what level gets blogs?

1998 Ford Expedition Sled-Rollover Crash Test

I think they build the cars to crumple up like that and absorb the impact instead of coming to a complete and instant halt - and flinging the passengers even further. >> ^zeoverlord:

Do they build the A-pillar on the passenger side out of pudding or why does it collapse this easily? Might be preferable to not wear a seatbelt and be ejected from this death trap after all ...

it could be that the entire car is coming down on it, but if you take a looksie again you will notice that it didn't completely collapse, in fact if you take a look at the clips from inside the card you will see that it's not that bad, save for the whole ejecting of the passengers due to them not having seat belts.

It boggles the fuck out of my mind whenever I see someone not wearing a seatbelt. People are so goddamned stupid.

I always wear mine, but I don't think they should be required by law. We need to thin some stupid out of the gene pool. I also always notice in TV and movies when actors aren't wearing theirs. That bothers me too, it might be a subliminal thing for people to think it's cool to not wear them.

Adobe Flash Coming Soon to the Google Android OS

blankfist says...

There's no :hover style in Flash ActionScript.

Mouseover events are still used for web with mouse cursors. I suppose "antiquated" was a bad choice of words. However they will not serve touchscreens for UI feedback. But you're right, I didn't think of drag and drop.

Let me say it this way then: for touchscreens the rollovers generated on mouseover events most likely won't be necessary. A combination of a release event and mouse within event could be useful.
