HEAVY METAL PARKING LOT-scene from the 1986 cult classic
Don't forget: Europe - The Final Countdown>> ^poolcleaner:
Let's see -- 1986 -- what did the metal gods deliver us in this year? Queensryche came out with a decent album, Candlemass released their very first album, Metallica's greatest work, Master of the Puppets came out; Iron Maiden had an alright album (not really in any of my top ten lists, but it's Maiden so it counts for something), Tony Iommi's solo album with Glenn Hughes of Deep Purple, Stryper's To Hell with the Devil (Haha, I kid), Dio's Intermission, Slayer's Reign in Blood, Fates Warning's Awaken the Guardian, Megadeth's Peace Sells But Who's Buying, and Judas Priest's Turbo.
It really isn't their fault that they're all so wasted, this year was a powder keg of pure metal madness!
Ian gillan-tony iommi and friends-out of my mind-fantastic!
kind of reminds me of 90's metal. therapy queensryche and suicidal tendancies.

Lisa Dalbello - Gonna Get Close To You
The Queensryche version seems much better. Although I must say the inflections are pretty much identical.
Lisa Dalbello - Gonna Get Close To You
Sorry, Queensryche's version was not "a pretty good cover". It totally lost the finesse of the song that Dalbello presents in her delivery.
Sure the video is dated but the song still holds strong and maintains it's subtle creepiness. In fact her whole album was pretty good!
Kamelot - Ghost Opera
I like this, reminds me of Queensryche back when they were still good.
Bloc Party - Banquet - Giant Hands video
No way, I have no problem being a fan of a band. I'm not really a fan of any contemporary rock bands, that I can think of, but I've been a huge fan of bands in the past, most notably Queensryche, but also Zeppelin, and Hendrix, although they were before my time.
I just meant that I wasn't a fan of those bands in particular. I enjoy a few tracks by Bloc Party and Coldplay, but I couldn't name a member of either band, don't know their albums, etc etc.
I am a HUGE fan of Simon Posford, aka Hallucinogen aka one half of Shpongle. I am a big fan of Shift, a trance producer from South Africa. I'm a HUGE fan of Robert Rich, and I wish that there were better robert rich videos to sift. No, I'm definitely a fanboi, just not for Bloc Party or Coldplay.
In reply to your comment:
why are you against being a fan of bands? you said like the exact same disclaimer before that bloc party video. is because you're a dj? and dj's can't get attached to bands?
