No, bob. It’s not. Trump threatened America with death and destruction from his cult, a terroristic threat he’s followed through on before.
That is absolutely nothing like exaggerating a bit that the economy is slightly better than it actually is.
One is a terrorist threat, the other “puffery”.
Besides, you said you love Trump because he’s not a politician, right? Why does he only speak political BS speak then? Trump is every bad example of a politician rolled into one without any experience or qualifications of one.

That’s fake, and you know it’s fake or it would have existed and been brought out in 2018 (oh, they tried and it fell flat), and would have been his answer every year since (would have if it wasn’t so obviously coerced). By 2018 she had publicly admitted the encounter, and never denied it after that date. I bet you got that from Trump….yep, direct from Trump who even forges documents on camera sometimes. Only a clueless moron would believe something like that….from 2018! You’ve got to be kidding. So gullible. So idiotic. This is the stupidity your cult accepts as “evidence”. She was suing Trump over the near rape and confidentiality agreement in 2018…and you really think SHE wrote this DEFENSE OF TRUMP?!? Even if you convinced yourself of the idiotic, obviously false notion that she wrote it, do you really think he sat on it for 5 years?

Ahh yes, looked it up, old news. She was pressured by Trumps lawyer Cohen to sign this statement he wrote under threat he would “make her life miserable” with the full power of the president behind him, pretty certain he’s admitted as much years ago. At the time she said “This is the statement Cohen wrote,” she tweeted, referring to Michael Cohen, Trump’s former attorney, whom Trump previously acknowledged reimbursing for making the 2016 payment to Daniels. The signature doesn’t look like hers because she signed under threat so changed her signature to indicate duress. “It is old news from early 2018 before I came forward. I think it’s HYSTERICAL that tiny is trying to spin this as some kind of new information,” she wrote, with “tiny” being a derogatory reference to Trump.
Also note the letter denies a payoff, which we know for a fact happened. Proven fake letter.
Also, not under oath….remember, if it’s not under oath, absolutely nothing you say matters. Your rule….live with it.
Why even bring it up? Because you’re scared, that’s why…and can’t remember what happened yesterday much less 2018, so try to use discredited “evidence”…just like Trump lawyers. They lose every case.

If he wants to prove he wasn’t naked with her, show us the toadstool. If it doesn’t match her description (but older and smaller) we’ll see that. Tiny dick Don would definitely do that if it wouldn’t prove her right.

BUT ITS ALSO PURE RED HERRING- I suppose you don’t understand the case against Trump isn’t about the sex, it’s about HIDING the payoff. There’s no questions there, he’s admitted it and there’s a paper trail of the money, so he’s feeding you red herrings because he has no defense and will almost certainly be convicted of felonies he’s previously admitted to….hiding the payoffs by falsifying business records and not reporting the campaign contributions. What Cohen was already convicted of despite this “letter”.

Kinda hilarious that you extrapolate from Biden touching a woman’s shoulder in public to claiming he’s a repeat public rapist but despite 36 women claiming they were sexually assaulted, some raped, and multiple payoffs for sex, and Trump himself bragging about constantly sexually assaulting women, moving on his friend’s wives like a bitch, doing whatever he wants to women without asking, you believe the nonsense that he’s not a cheater. Melania doesn’t.

Every day you prove what an idiotic gullible cultist you are, making up or spreading lies for Trump. Your family has gone, haven’t they. I can’t imagine a rational person living with you.

Edit: Trump is planning a rally at Waco on the anniversary of Koresh….because he doesn’t want to be associated with terroristic anti government violent cults.

Its the same as Biden claiming that the economy is doing great firing on all cylinders. Political BS speak.

Did you see the signed letter from Stormy Danielsl from 2018..

he letter read:

“Over the past few weeks I have been asked countless times to comment on reports of an alleged sexual relationship I had with Donald Trump many, many, many years ago,” Daniels said.

“The fact of the matter is that each party to this alleged affair denied its existence on 2006, 2011, 2016, 2017 and now again in 2018. I am not denying this affair because I was paid ‘hush money’ as has been reported in overseas owned tabloids. I am denying this affair because it never happened,” she said.

“I will have no further comment on this matter,” she said.

Yet another failed attempt form bought elected officials to stop an none bought elected official.

NATO Declares Nord Pipeline Ruptures Sabotage

Because Jimmy Dore’s show says so!? Based on what “anonymous sources” said to a third party? Sources alleged to be Navy seals….divulging what would be absolutely top secret classified information that would irreparably harm America and possibly spark an active war if true, to a reporter…something only seriously anti Americans would do, not patriotic active Navy Seals. You sucker.
Or because Biden said “we will stop it” (clearly meaning with political pressures, based on agreements between Germany and America) months earlier? Yep, solid proof there.
The media is silent because they don’t bite on all the fake stories righty nutjobs on the internet fantasize about. Derp.
Nothing burger. Righty nutjob fantasy based on supposition, nutty extrapolation, and outright delusion and lies. Right up your alley, sucker.

Such straw grasping. Why do you love to look the fool SO MUCH?

Idiots—all who believe any of this is untrue or unimportant. Oil is the death nail of any ecology, without which economies simply cannot exist.
(Saying oil is the life blood of any economy is like saying “Plants crave Brawndo, it’s got electrolytes.”. Plants can survive on Brawndo temporarily, but quickly fail.)

Change to green is coming, but far too slowly. Market forces and “scientific debate” (read-misinformation campaigns) have been manipulated by enormous industry pressures and coffers to keep it from being mainstream. (You likely STILL think Solar and wind aren’t economically viable when they both have been for decades, and still deny climate change even though the oil industry knew for a certainty it was a real and existential threat in the 70’s, but industry supplied misinformation has duped you time and time again into being on the wrong side of the science, ecology, economy, and/or sanity.)

Because market forces are artificiality manipulated and driven by industry whose existence depends on staying Crude (as opposed to Going Green), government edict is not just necessary, it’s an overdue urgent imperative.

FTFY.

Beau schools on schooling: why 'FREE' scares Biff & Babs

spawnflagger says...

I think there should be free Community College for anyone that wants to go, but I also think college isn't for everyone, and Trade schools should also be free (I've seen plenty of plumbers that charge hourly rates more than lawyers).

As far as other colleges, there should be merit scholarships for anyone who does well at Community College can transfer to those for years 3 & 4.

I had a merit-based scholarship for my undergrad, but it was conditioned on maintaining a 3.0 GPA (B average or higher). If it went under 3.0 for two semesters, scholarship gone. Also required finishing in 4 years, so I had to take 15-18 credits every semester. I also worked part-time during semester and full-time in summers to pay down the loans (that the grants & scholarship didn't cover), so graduated debt free. I also can see I'm an exception rather than the norm.

I wouldn't begrudge anyone getting higher education. I also think some people who drop out when they are 18-22 years old, could go instead when they are older and more mature and totally succeed, so don't force it immediately after high school. Part of that is pressure from being allowed on your parents health insurance if you're in school up to a certain age... universal health care coverage (public option) would fix that and should be a higher priority than universal college. I voted for Bernie.

Today we got a recording of Colorado District 4 Congressman Ken Buck pressuring an El Paso County GOP official to falsify (primary) election results in the State Senate District 10 race in 2020. “Just add this name to the ballot and give him the top line vote, with 30% of the vote.”

“ Buck: “Do you understand the order of the executive committee and the central committee that you will submit the paperwork to include Mr. Stiver and Mr. Liston on the ballot, with Mr. Liston receiving the top-line vote?”

Bremer: “I will seek legal counsel as I am being asked to sign an affidavit that states Mr. Stiver received 30% of the vote. I need to seek legal counsel to find out if I am putting myself in jeopardy of a misdemeanor for doing that. ”

Buck: “And you understand that it is the order of the central committee that you do so?”

Bremer: “I will consult with counsel. Yes sir, I understand the central committee has ordered me to sign an affidavit stating that a candidate got 30% who did not, and I will seek legal counsel and determine if I am legally able to follow that.”“

https://krdo.com/news/2020/05/08/gop-chair-in-el-paso-county-says-congressman-ken-buck-told-him-to-submit-false-election-results/

They were stopped from just discarding the primary vote by legal injunction, and they appealed saying they’ve done this so often that if they allow people to file for injunction against this illegal election fraud then the courts will be clogged for years because they’ve done this uncountable times.

Another blatant, outrageous, totally anti democracy election fraud by Republicans. Your party should be declared enemies of democracy and every registered Republican deported to a non democratic country, forfeiting 100% of the assets they’ve taken from America….or lined up in the street and shot as active traitors. The Japanese weren’t as anti American in WW2 as today’s Republicans…and you’re one of them. Your party should be renamed Ephialtes.

The origins of oil falsely defined in 1892

newtboy says...

When your grasp on reality is broken, you can be convinced of any nonsense.

I wonder how this man profits from spreading this misinformation.

So you know, bob. Oil isn’t made out of dinosaurs, it’s made up mostly of decomposed diatoms, algae, zooplankton, and other microorganisms, transformed under heat and pressure.
It is a finite resource.
If we burn it all, it’s CO2 emissions alone would cause an estimated approximately 200 ft of sea level rise (and likely near total planetary extinction).

PS- shouldn’t it be “The oranges of oil falsely defined in 1892”?

Holy shit, buddy. Are you just now realizing you only had two wrong, and one was promoting anti fascism?

It’s true, the party doesn’t promote abortions officially, but Republican women have them at nearly the same rates as sane women. Republicans froth at the mouth over this issue, until it hits home then suddenly it’s a choice they have an absolute right to make in private while telling others they have no choice….like Congressman Scott DesJarlais, a rabid anti abortionist that pressured both his wife and mistress to have abortions. Typical hypocritical Republican mantra, “do as I say, not as I do”….so sorry but Republicans absolutely do promote abortions, private abortions for themselves, just not others….but the party doesn’t.

It is correct, republicans are not anti fascism.

As pointed out, republicans do actually promote and exemplify everything else you listed, and oppose every opposition you listed with their actions. It takes a willfully ignorant idiot to believe otherwise.

Are you embarrassed that you tried to say Democrats promote the KKK when the grand dragon was recently a long time Republican Louisiana state senator and 2016 candidate for US senate? If not, it’s proof you are incapable of being embarrassed because you are just a troll.

Hayes: NRA "Good Guy With A Gun" Theory Failed In Real Time

Mass shootings/presidents in office
Reagan- 31
Bush- 18
Clinton- 54 *
Bush- 49
Obama- 132*
Trump- 40
Biden- 147 (so far)
...Mass shootings" comprise about 1% of all gun-related homicides in America. Just noise. Not worth targeting with legislation.
According to 0bama's own CDC study, guns are used to prevent crimes between 750K and 1.5 million times per year.
Mass sh*oting fatalities: About less than 900.
Mass k*l l ings of unarmed citizens by socialist governments in the last 100 years: Bbetween 100 million & 260 million DURING PEACE TIME.
Allowing ANY government to begin the process of UNVERSAL registering and confiscating your g u n s through monetary pressures is the beginning of total tyranny, SUBJUGATION, slavery and Mass S l a u g h t e r of the non-elite class, which is most people.
the question is, do most people care enough to protect & fight for their God given freedoms of self-defense against evil??

Hayes: NRA "Good Guy With A Gun" Theory Failed In Real Time

newtboy says...

Yep…not true at Parkland, wasn’t true here. There were DOZENS of “good guys with guns” milling around outside, and 19 inside, not one even tried to help, some assaulted students, parents, and teachers, but not the shooter.

Edit: 19 officers were inside, on the other side of the door while children were being shot to death for 45 minutes…during which time they heard the screams of children being shot to death, they received multiple calls from inside the classroom explaining that there were multiple dead kids, multiple still living children, and more being shot with every call, yet they did absolutely nothing but wait. They claim today that they decided he was a barricaded suspect and there was no time pressure to stop him despite being able to hear children being murdered just feet away from where they stood with their thumbs up their asses.
It now seems, according to today’s story from police (a story that changes with every telling) even the tactical team from border police was on scene almost 40 minutes before they went in.

*doublepromote *quality debunking of another of the right’s idiotic talking points.

I think 21 officers from that force need to be executed on the spot by grieving parents, with no charges for the shooters, and the rest fired and banned from being even unarmed security guards for life, with prison if they even attempt another job in law enforcement. This was undeniable proof that police aren’t heroes, aren’t there to protect the public, and are in reality just cowardly thugs with guns and authority that don’t step up when needed.

Oliver Stones thoughts on why Putin invaded Ukraine

StukaFox says...

I don't believe this was ever about taking Ukraine with the Russian military. I believe this is about destroying Ukraine and squeezing Europe's energy-dependent balls until the EU cracks under the economic pressure caused by the sanctions. This is already happening with Germany whimpering to Daddy Vladdy for all that precious, precious oil and gas. "Oh, we gave Zelensky a billion euros!"; yeah, and you gave Putin 25x that in oil/gas purchases.

The mealy-mouthing and dissembling has already begun, most shamefully from the New York Times, who is calling for Ukraine to make "hard choices". "This isn't capitulation" -- fuck you NYT, yes it is.

I had honest hopes that the western powers would show some spine and resolve, but as soon at their economies started to feel a little pain, the number of fucks given for Ukrainian lives went to zero. Russian is going to rape and murder its way from Odessa to the Belarus border until the western powers figure out some way to make it all Zelensky's fault or force him to cede massive amounts of Ukrainian territory before any real economic pain felt.

The worst part is that Finland and Sweden are going to be granted NATO membership, but Ukraine still is denied. Why are these two the hills NATO is willing to die on and Ukraine not? If NATO isn't willing to risk nuclear war over Ukraine, what happens when the tip of a single Russian boot touches Finnish soil? What happens when Finland then calls for Article 5 and the rest of NATO suddenly realizes shit just got real? What happens when it's time to shit or get off the pot; put up or shut up? Either NATO charges into the teeth of a potential nuclear war, or NATO is shown to be a paper tiger. If someone sees a middle ground, I'm interested in hearing it.

(Incidentally, NATO's Article 5 is pretty porous. A-5 doesn't say every NATO nation commits whatever forces are deemed necessary by the whole to defend against an aggressor. Instead, it says that in the event of A-5 coming into play, each member will take "such action as [the member state] deems necessary, including the use of armed force, to restore and maintain the security of the North Atlantic area."

Notice the whole 'each member' and 'deems necessary'? Yeah, to quote a popular movie 'I don't think this mutual defense pact means what you think it does'.)

Same principle gold dredging works on. A small high pressure pump pulls surrounding water through a manifold, creating a powerful vacuum at the manifold inlet.

No problem whatsoever with waivers. Are you worried that too many brain dead slugs will Darwin themselves? Why? Do you foresee some future shortage of morons?
The problem is trying to make everything safe for morons….how are we supposed to cull them if you remove ALL evolutionary pressures.
Idiocracy was a documentary from the near future.

Besides, if they’re dumb enough for all that, they’re dumb enough to know that if they can’t see the danger, the danger can’t see them, so just walk the cliff edge with your towel wrapped around your head, for safety.

If I want to risk my life climbing an active rock slide, that should be my and the recovery team my estate hires’s business. The idea that suicide is against the law is moronic to me….the only crime that is prosecuted only against those who fail at committing it. Suicide by overt stupidity or intentional high risk lifestyles not only doesn’t bother me, I fully support it as long as it doesn’t involuntarily endanger others.

BTW, the skier death doesn’t sound sad one bit to me, she died doing what she loved, and part of that love was undoubtedly of the danger level of skiing out of bounds, the rush of skiing with a 1000ft drop as the punishment for crashing (or stepping too far). I would think she probably really enjoyed 99% of her last day. Definitely the kind of horrific, quick death I hope for. Way better than prolonged disease or decline.

StukaFox said:

Therein lies the problem: most people HUGELY over-estimate their 'Acceptable risk level'.

- "This crumbling cliff edge above a 1,000 foot gorge is the PERFECT place for a selfie!" (one of the saddest deaths in WA was when one of the best skiers in the state decided to look over the edge of a cornice. It gave way and she fell almost a thousand feet to her death.)

- "100f and 0% humidity? What a perfect time to go for a 10 mile, uphill hike with only a can of Coke and some salty beef jerky!"

- "10 essentials? Beer, pot, lighter, cellphone, hat, earbuds, that little map they give you at the visitor center, more beer and is that 10?"

- "I can read a map just fine! This off-trail hike through a rugged part of the park will be breeze!"

- "I can get signal anywhere in this enormous national forest!"

- "Aww! What a cute little baby bear!"

- "Can we get an Uber at the bottom of this ravine?"

- "Let's go swimming! This raging river of snow melt will be the perfect place to cool off!"

etc etc etc

Why Does My Dog... Walk in Circles Before Lying Down?

luxintenebris jokingly says...

perhaps you're highly susceptible to 'peer pressure'. it happens in many social circles. akin to why most women follow the same fashions.

so in the den, of your home, while it's just you and the dog, you're finding yourself circling while the dog finds itself losing and searching for the remote often.

good luck with learning the 'new' grooming habits. am envious if you succeed.
