Aliens with the tech to get here from another solar system would mop us up.

We simply couldn't fight that.

Back in the '70s scientists came up with a space weapon they called THOR, which is essentially a crowbar-sized bit of metal that has guidance fins at the back. Drop that from outer space and the simple energy of it falling creates an immense amount of damage at ground level.

Aliens who could get here from another solar system could simply throw chunks of asteroid at our cities until we capitulated. No space laser is going to stop that. Especially when they'd have space lasers of their OWN to target our space lasers.

This whole thing is pure fantasy. The same kind of diseased minds who believe in God, Ghosts, and Donald Trump's fitness to be President.

I think I'd like to see a cheesy self help movie in outer space with Muppets. Sounds cool.

This dog reminded me of that old movie, "Attack of the Killer Clowns from Outer Space."

Oh, the guy being filmed is a free-diver, so he can prob hold his breath for several minutes. I was just as impressed with the cinematographer - it's so well shot - at times he looks like he's falling, other times in outer space, so cool.

I never started going to real concerts for bands I like until I was in my late 20s/early 30s and I could not have been less entertained.

They weren't crowded ragers as depicted here, but I was totally just Meh the whole time. I kept trying to force myself to get into it, but I just couldn't have cared less that I was there. I really don't get the appeal. This is one of those things that makes me feel like an alien (from outer space).

I for one enjoyed the film, as whats-his-fuck-all disappears into outer space in the first half hour and we get to float around low-orbit all alone with Sandra Bullock for the rest of the ride Gonna watch it again before bed!!

The fond childhood memories of epic cinematic outer-space masturbation have given-way to the worries and trials of a civilization saturated with entertainment, regurgitate art and culture, and the concerns of real-world issues like, "My children will never experience the thrill of cinema like I did because all the fucking movie theaters are either closed, or packed with 16 pieces of cinematic crap that costs way too much for a poor-quality product. Oh that and the demise of language and culture, as the world is turned into a single amalgamate of herd-like automatons.

Plus this song has been parodied so many times as to become nauseating.
