Where are your nu-cle-ar wessels?
This scene is great for many reasons. They originally filmed the scene with the cameras away from the actors, and shot it like candid camera. Apparently, they hired an actual police officer (in the scene) to double as a bodyguard for the actors.
And this quoted information below comes from:
http://mario.lapam.mo.it/films/st4.htm
William Shatner: "Look closely at the scenes in which Chekov grills random passers-by as to how he might find the nearest 'nuclear wessels,' and you'll notice that he's most often soliciting that advice from real-life, unrehearsed, slightly shocked pedestrians. Their resultant looks of incredulity are quote genuine, as most of them just assumed that Walter was simply out of his mind."
Leonard Nimoy: "Up walked this woman with long, dark hair, whom none of us had ever seen before. She paused to listen to Walter, then said helpfully, 'I think they're across the Bay, in Alameda.' Her reaction was so ingenuous and perfect that we included her in the shot, and wound up negotiating a contract with her, so that we could pay her for talking. It was a wonderful accident, from our perspective as well as hers."
KIRK & SPOCK: Star Trek AD 1973
I wonder if Nimoy was ever on T.J. Hooker?
KIRK & SPOCK: Star Trek AD 1973
I love it. They used some bits from Nimoy's "Baffled" pilot.

Arthur C. Clarke examines the Crystal Skull and Antikythera.
jimnms: Yes, but must not have been included on the clip. This is from ACC's "Mysterious World" series that aired back in the early 80's(?). I just recently ripped them all to DVD; pretty lucky too as they were all on an 18 year old videotape that I had made in SLP. If you like "In Search Of" with Nimoy, you'd dig Mysterious World. Good stuff.
How to tell when a man is in love with your vagina
Watch this with the Nimoy "Baffled" theme music in the background.

Starscream Gets What's Always Been Coming To Him
Galvatron is voiced by Leanord Nimoy in the movie.
Ballad of Bilbo Baggins as Sung by Leonard Nimoy
I wonder if Nimoy was able to trade on his celebrity to bag one of the go-go dancers while singing about hobbits and dwarves.

Probably not.
Famous Bigfoot Film
That was a kickass In Search Of..., with Leonard Nimoy kicking out the jams.![](https://videosift.com/vs5/emoticon/smile.gif)
Spock shows low-budget FX
Cool show. Nimoy is always class act. He did an entire show about Star Trek III (he was, after all, the director). In another LCA ep a stuntman got yanked backwards into some boxes by a cable harness to simulate getting hit by a shotgun blast.
Spock shows low-budget FX
What is this from? I seem to remember Nimoy hosting an early-80s show on cable that was devoted to special effects in movies and TV shows, but I don't see anything like that mentioned in his IMDB profile.
Leonard Nimoy and William Shatner talking about the Shatner Roast
my new phrase, "Needs more Nimoy."
