1.the banks need to held accountable.
check.
2,which by inference means the governments role should be as fraud detector and protector of the consumer.

3,you didnt mention it but i hope you agree the corporate charter needs to be rewritten in a way where they are NOT a person and therefore shall be removed from the political landscape.

4.this will (or should) re-balance our political system (which is diseased at the moment).
5.which will return this country to a more level playing field and equate to=more liberty.
6.this will open innovation,progress and advancements in ALL fields AND due to competitive forces ,will lower prices.

the flaw in capitalism is not just the boom and bust but the exploitation of the common man,or worker if you like.

not only would the most vulnerable of us be exploited but it would make the class structure even WORSE than it is now (which by comparison is not too bad when compared to,say..somolia).

imagine having to pay for any road you drove on.ALL of them.all owned by different companies and subsidiaries.every one of them a toll road.
the market would dictate what burden could be held sufficiently in order to turn a profit.
what percentage would be prevented from driving those roads due to lack of funds?

lets take this template and put it with firefighters.
would having a firehouse every couple of miles be profitable?
i mean,how many fires are there actually occurring on any given day?
so the firehouse would have 2 choices that i see.
shut down the more rural and spread the firehouses more thinly OR charge a monthly fee.
since a nominal fee would be the most likely avenue,what about those people who cant afford that fee?

in my opinion the only thing we really seem to disagree on is when it is in regards to labor.

i tried a few years ago to buy my friends bar/eatery with most of the employees.

we were not allowed.
could not get the permits.
the owner even offered to finance us all..

how about them apples.illegal to have an employee owned business.

that is changing though.
employee owned businesses and co-opts are popping up like recurring herpes.

i dont know why it was illegal in this area and i dont see how employee owned companies would threaten a free market.

I'm afraid we don't really agree on that at all. Crazy terrorists come in all shapes and colors, and wouldn't ever characterize them as being 'mostly' anything.

My point is much more in line with this speaker. The crazy muslim terrorists are primarily a problem to other muslims, as they are overwhelmingly more often the victims of that terror. I disagree with the speaker on the severity of the problem within the Muslim world. Daily suicide and terrorist bombings against predominantly Muslim civilians in virtually all the countries I've previously mentioned would seem to back me up.

Paul Henry is probably the most obnoxious arrogant bastard i know on TV. But at least he's not a grinning simpering idiot like most morning TV hosts.

I especially like the product infomercials - they pay to come on the show and he spends the whole time telling them how useless the product is and how it's only interesting to homosexuals.

And this folks is a wonderful example of how sheltered Americans have become. All that censorship on tv... watered down mindless kids shows... helicopter parents and warning labels.

#1 this is japan, exposed breast on public tv are not unusual. Bleach does stick to mild echii at best, but there are many other daytime animes which have shown nudity since the 1980s. Brain Powered's intro has tons of it even though it is tamer than bleach.

#2 Bleach is not a kids show.. its targeted at teens. Not that most kids couldn't follow it. If you considered the complexity of japans kid's anime shows like Alice, Cardcaptor, Nanoha, Dennō coil, it makes me ashamed the best our tv has to offer is pokemon (which is japanese.. but were selling the best of japans worst here), blues clues, teletubies, and several serialized versions of walt disneys old and busted animated worlds. Todays morning TV is generally 3 things, a badly animated original kids show using the worst realtime 3d graphics has to offer for the lowest budget possible, a teen comedy drama with a similar budget for writing, or one of the 100 seasons of power rangers.

#3 In the land of public bath houses, appearing nakid in front of strangers isn't THAT uncommon. Her (the nakid chick) character isnt QUITE realistic as she is constantly acting like the dumb blond, but other then the quick mood changes back and forth, the scene was written pretty well (if not boring for those who hate dramas).
