I'd rather have a rambunctious, messy child than a maudlin, mopey child any day.

You just gotta make sure you provide them a designated space to be messy around. Like in a shower & bath tub, local beach, a mud pool in back yard etc etc.

Keeping'em in a mess-free lifestyle means a dull, unbalanced child that appears to be good during their school years but as soon as they goto college they just lose it and gets pregnant 5 times.

you're lucky I have an affinity towards that song, otherwise it'd be a fat, maudlin, downvote.
