I do fear what your country is becoming in this xenophobic climate. I also fear that misplaced or blind patriotism will cause good people of all nationalities to stand by and watch as their rights and freedoms slowly slip away.

Marine Gunrock, I did not post this for any other reason that it made the news and was franking, fucking disturbing, if not a fake...then wtf does this show? I put it here to ask other people what they always thought of it.

I couldn't believe when I found this post of a video of a Rubik's Cube being solved in 2 minutes, but my breath was taken away when I found a Marine Gunrock eating a sandwich in under two minutes! I don't know how these guys do it, but my hat's off.

Easy enough: Hey, guess what? I'm a Marine. Gunrock is a nick name for cannoneers. You need a higher test score to be in the FDC than on the gun line, so the Math nerds in FDC call us rocks-gunrocks and the name spread to the entire Corps. Just like MINK said, I think there is alot of latent gayness in those chatrooms, alot of repression and curiosity.

Anyone remember American Beauty? Or ever heard of Larry Craig? Or Mark Foley? Many, many "gay-haters" are just people who have homosexual tendencies and are afraid of it, or more specifically afraid of what their peers would do to them if they came out of the closet.

Most straight guys wouldn't give a second thought to another guys homosexuality if they were really comfortable with their own sexuality in the beginning.

Even if these stats were "botted", conservatives everywhere in the blogosphere have conceded that "homosexuality" is legitimately the most viewed page on conservapedia.

I have to chime in here. Don't like EA games anymore. They have big budgets and big glaring frustrations for the player.

His historical exaggerations undermine his argument but the specifics of the history aren't really all that relevant. I think the "Blaming the Jews" argument that some have thrown out here is a red herring thrown out to confuse the issues. He's not blaming them, he's just saying that they might have had a chance if they'd resisted in the early phases. Even if he was blaming them, it's no reason to throw out the rest of his arguments, it's a bit like people calling Clinton a bad president because he couldn't keep his penis in his pants. Attack the argument, not the man. So far I've seen very few people tackle the actual meat of his arguments, most of you are debating irrelevant snippets in an attempt to discredit him.

Have you had a look at your checks and balances lately? 3 branches; Executive, obviously controlled by BushCo. Judicial, after massive hirings of loyal Bushies against the law in many cases and with a near lock on the Supreme Court also pretty well under BushCo's thumb. Legislative, 100% under control of BushCo up until the recent elections, now they're pretty skittish about opposing him so give him a "mostly" controls B+ (and if they inact any legislation he doesn't like he can just sign away the parts he doesn't like or veto the entire thing.

What checks and balances? They've all been perverted to suit el Presidente, the dictator who has never actually won a fair election.
