Piece of Bread falling over
My last con was Magnum Opus Con in 1989 when I rode in an elevator with Nichelle Nichols. To my regret, when the elevator doors closed I should have said "Bridge."
You've never been to a Furry con.

This ‘Star Trek’ Actress Changed TV (and NASA) Forever
I rode in an elevator with Nichelle Nichols back in 1989 at Magnum Opus Con in Greenville, South Carolina. I was starstruck.
How powerful assault-style rifles lead to devastating wounds
Ok, then rimfire isn't assault weapon ammo. You're mixing up topics, adding confusion for nothing on topic....
....and the data massively contradicts your contention that any normal handgun is more powerful or faster than assault weapons, which are 7.62x39 and .223, both over 3 times the power of .357 magnums and beat .44 magnums handily.
To be honest, .50 AE pistols do actually appear to have slightly more power than .223 caliber rifles, I had to look them up separately as they weren't listed, but they are far slower, and a .50 cal bmg has around 7.5 times more power, and desert eagles in the AE .50 configuration aren't normal pistols.
Ah no. I didn't misquote this.
Go to the 16 second mark thank you very much.
Including rimfire was to point out that just because it is a rifle doesn't mean it is more powerful than a handgun.

Japan's Ominous Dancing Cats and the Disaster That Followed
Minimata disease was largely exposed by photographer W. Eugene Smith. The Chisso Corporation did not like being made famous for their business practice. Several employees attacked Smith in 1972. Smith survived, but never really recovered. He left Japan in 1974 to teach journalism at the University of Arizona. He died a in 1978, aged 59.
His most famous image of the environmental disaster was Tomoko Uemura in Her Bath.
You can see the rest of his images of Minimata at Magnum Photos.

a moral right-the politics of dirty harry
I never get tired of this movie. Back in high school in the 70s my film class teacher let us watch this, it was unheard of. He said if he heard any sniggering during any of it he would shut it off right then so we kept quiet.
He pointed out some symbolism that I didn't get at first, about Callahan and Scorpio on the 50 yard line in the stadium. And the processing plant representing the justice system during the final chase, with Scorpio escaping. He also pointed out that even without a search warrant they would have charged Scorpio for shooting Chico and beating Callahan.
One thing I noticed, the violence in this 1971 movie was unheard of a year earlier. I can't think of any movie from 1969 or 1970 that had anything close to it.
The rest of the franchise got progressively worse for me, although Magnum Force made an effort. ("Me and Smith and Wesson", oh brother. He would have been shot 10 times over before getting to that line)
Explanation of Crucial References in RICK & MORTY -Wisecrack
Oh man, Zardoz! Did anyone else see Sean Connery's magnum opus in a theater? *promote some great references to some awful movies.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows Trailer #4
Michael Bay will hit his peak when he makes a film composed completely of single frame cuts. When they're selling buckets of Ritalin in the lobby, instead of popcorn, you'll know he's achieved his magnum opus.
A Revolver That Fires More Than 25 Cartridge Types
Actually, all of the actual bullets are in the 9mm width category. Even the .357 is actually .38 but they didn't want to call it a .38 magnum. The difference is in the size of the case. For instance, a 9mm is simply a longer cased .380 with more powder and slightly thicker case walls. This is why the cylinder has tapered chambers, so that the cases can all fit correctly, and the chamber mouths have the little spring projection.
Therefore it is quite accurate, at least as much as any other revolver.
Accuracy after 20 feet is probably in the miss-the-side-of-the-barn area...
The Simpsons vs. Family Guy
Pfftt.. no way is it as good as the Magnum PI and Murder She Wrote crossover episdoe!
Colbert Shows Just How Backward Florida Gun Laws Are
Interestingly, in this video at least, he was firing a .22lr Ruger MkII, about as low powered a pistol as you can get. .22lr has a hard time going through inch thick plywood (when fired from a pistol). This is different than the alleged .357 magnum, .38 special, and .380 ACP the random lady was calling out.
The gun range guy is incorrect. Some people always get on target with static shooting. Those destroyed walls in his range will (in my experience) be from beginners. Even then, there are degrees of off target. You can miss significantly to the sides of most targets and still safely hit the backstop. You have to be shooting incredibly wide or high to miss the backstop.
Noise is a big issue here. Suppressors are legal in Florida with the right permit - he should get them for all his firearms.
Safety is an issue as well, if the entire wall area he firing into is not thick enough to stop his strongest firearm then there is serious risk of injuring someone else. He should build a mini steel and concrete reinforced range.
Fuel tanks don't automatically explode. MythBusters did this in two episodes, and you need a tracer round fired from a long distance to ignite a tank's fuel.
Regardless of the legalities or not, if his neighbours are scared and annoyed, (and regardless of whether or not it is a rational fear), he should be considerate of his neighbours and their concerns and do more to alleviate their concerns.
Don't Mess With a Chipmunk's Nuts
I can handle Magnum PI doing the narration, but the sound effects are just silly.
