Not a single fake word written there, buddy. You can’t contradict one syllable of what I said, so as usual, like a baby, you just plug your ears, squeeze your eyes shut, and shout “no, no, no, no, no!”
Every word I wrote there was a direct quote from Trump. He spent years claiming that anyone who takes the fifth is absolutely, undeniably, and admittedly guilty. “only criminals invoke the fifth. The mafia invokes the fifth. The mob takes the fifth. If you’re innocent why are you taking the fifth? Taking the fifth, I think it’s disgraceful. It’s despicable people who invoke the fifth.” …all Trump’s public words.

Where do I find it? Mostly memory, but it’s verifiable everywhere. YouTube was a nice resource because they have the videos of him saying it, to be sure I quoted correctly. There’s no point in telling you how to do research, you won’t remember what I told you in 20 minutes anyway.

Yes. Your side DOES have a BS Q site, and toth Senchal, 4chan, and other insanity spreading sites….the left has nothing 1/10 that delusional. Your side also has a dozen separate terrorist wings, most white supremacist organizations just itching for a race war, all prepared to attack the American government violently. 🤦‍♂️

Tell me one thing I said that’s not a verifiable fact.

Checkout line magazine rack?! Don’t project, bob. It’s not a good look. Actually, it would be an improvement for you…you could learn a lot from bat boy, and the weekly world news never came up with anything 1/2 as stupid as the Q nonsense 1/2 of you believe….waiting for JFK jr to resurrect and lead the far right to victory!?! 😂

We’ve got “birds aren’t real” (a parody of Republican stupidity), you’ve got Italian Jewish space lasers changing votes from space for Biden, an actual serious public claim from an elected Republican who is still serving.

Edit: ROTFLMFAHS!! Manafort apparently just ADMITTED to Russian collusion while he was part of Trump’s campaign, admitting to being the one handing over Trump campaign data to Russian oligarchs…for money.
Rusher, Rusher, Rusher…now confirmed by the perpetrator, not a hoax!
Lock him up
Lock him up
Lock him up!

Fraudster and wannabe Hitler Trump pleaded the fifth about his businesses being both over and under valued depending on which helps him at the time, because he’s guilty.
Remember, Trump says “only criminals invoke the fifth. The mafia invokes the fifth. The mob takes the fifth. If you’re innocent why are you taking the fifth? Taking the fifth, I think it’s disgraceful. It’s despicable people who invoke the fifth.” In this case, I agree.
Why, then, has he fought so hard to avoid being deposed court, one wonders.

So, by his own definition, Trump just pleaded guilty to bank fraud on an unheard of scale.
Pleading the fifth in a civil case can be viewed as legally binding admission of legal liability.

The “L”s just keep coming. How will Trump run if he’s in court on dozens of civil and criminal cases or prison?

Remember how you claimed Clinton was invalidated as a candidate because she was under (a purely partisan, umpteenth, disingenuous) investigation? Now you say “nothing burger” that Trump is under dozens of actual indictments, many criminal, and is considering running to attempt to shield himself from legal consequences of serious crimes?! Are you truly so blind you don’t see your constant blatant hypocrisy? Probably.

Man Who Shot At Police In Self Defense Is Acquitted

newtboy says...

*dead
Age restricted by YouTube.

Side note, 5 years after an unarmed man was shot 76 times (shot at over 100 times) by police, two officers have finally been indicted for his murder. (Turns out two of those shots came from directly above his dead body….mafia execution style)
The previous DA claimed the local police were working with federal marshals, whose policy is to not allow body cameras, and they always follow that rule, so there was no body cam footage, and under Trump the US marshals refused to cooperate, so he had no evidence with which to prosecute. That changed.

Felony murder, aggravated assault, burglary, making false statements, and violation of oath by a police officer. I hope they both get the death penalty and get no protection in prison. Maybe they can get raped to death….still too good for their ilk.

F-18 Criticisms in the 80's mirror those of the F-35 today

Mordhaus says...

Lockheed Martin and the Pentagon say the F-35’s superiority over its rivals lies in its ability to remain undetected, giving it “first look, first shot, first kill.”

Hugh Harkins, a highly respected author on military combat aircraft, called that claim “a marketing and publicity gimmick” in his book on Russia’s Sukhoi Su-35S, a potential opponent of the F-35. He also wrote, “In real terms an aircraft in the class of the F-35 cannot compete with the Su-35S for out and out performance such as speed, climb, altitude, and maneuverability.”

Other critics have been even harsher. Pierre Sprey, a cofounding member of the so-called “fighter mafia” at the Pentagon and a co-designer of the F-16, calls the F-35 an “inherently a terrible airplane” that is the product of “an exceptionally dumb piece of Air Force PR spin.” He has said the F-35 would likely lose a close-in combat encounter to a well-flown MiG-21, a 1950s Soviet fighter design.

Robert Dorr, an Air Force veteran, career diplomat and military air combat historian, wrote in his book “Air Power Abandoned,” “The F-35 demonstrates repeatedly that it can’t live up to promises made for it. … It’s that bad.”

The development of the F-35 has been a mess by any measurement. There are numerous reasons, but they all come back to what F-35 critics would call the jet's original sin: the Pentagon's attempt to make a one-size-fits-all warplane, a Joint Strike Fighter.

History is littered with illustrations of multi-mission aircraft that never quite measured up. Take Germany's WWII Junkers Ju-88, or the 1970s Panavia Tornado, or even the original F/A-18. Today the Hornet is a mainstay of the American military, but when it debuted it lacked the range and payload of the A-7 Corsair and acceleration and climb performance of the F-4 Phantom it was meant to replace.

Yeah, the F/A-18 was trash when it first came out and it took YEARS and multiple changes/fixes to allow it to fully outperform the decades old aircraft it was designed to beat when it was released.

The F35 is not the best at anything it does, it is designed to fully be mediocre at all roles in order to allow it to be a single solution aircraft. That may change with more money, time, and data retrieved from hours spent in actual combat, but as it stands it is what it was designed to be. A jack of all trades and master of none, not something I would want to be flying in a role where I could encounter a master of that role.

As @ChaosEngine says, it is far beyond time that we move to a design where the pilot is not in the plane. There is no reason at this time that we cannot field a plane that could successfully perform it's role with the pilot in a secure location nearby. Such planes could be built cheaper, could perform in g-forces that humans cannot withstand, and would be expendable in a way that current planes are not. However, this would mean that our corporate welfare system for huge defense contractors would take a massive hit. We can't have that, can we?

Trump Won't Win

Mordhaus says...

It was clear he was going to win once the democrat mafia forced Hillary down our throats again. There were a metric fuckton of people who were forced to either sit out the election or sadly vote for the worst possible person just because the dems wouldn't fairly let a candidate be selected.

I DID NOT want Trump to be President. At the same time, I COULD NOT vote for Hillary Clinton. Had Bernie ran, I would have jumped ship and voted for him like I did for Obama. I am willing to bet there were a lot like me. The sad thing is, as much as I dislike Hillary, if she is forced on us again I will have to vote for her. I don't want to, but at that point it will be the lesser of two evils again.

Why The Cops Won't Help You When You're Getting Stabbed

bigbikeman says...

Ok, so....

Cops should just jump on people they think *might* commit a crime because: Reasons .

Good call, citizens!

Due process. Due fucking process.
It exists for reasons beyond your cynical worldview...or even worst case scenarios. It exists to protect the rest of us. The majority.

The cops were right there to take the guy away once he did something stupid. They were also "correct" in not doing anything beforehand. Right before he pulled a knife and stabbed someone, he was just being an asshole, nothing more. That's not illegal. Sorry.

and no: you don't want the police "protecting" you. That's what the Mafia does.

So what's the alternative? Preemptive police takedowns? That happens too, and people scream all the same.

Difference is: I'd rather live in a free society where cops wait for somebody (maybe me) to actually do something wrong, than just leave it up to them to decide when you (or I) *might* be a risk, and then taze or shoot you or me dead.

The police are not there to keep you safe. For one, there is no such thing as "safe" in absolute terms, and in my opinion, if there was, you sure as shit don't want the state prescribing that "safety".

But...that's just my opinion.
