So, the kid gets "reckless operation of a longboard" and what does the cop get for "reckless use of a fast moving vehicle" and the endangerment of people? God dammit America... you piss me off everyday.

Do you raid without a helmet? Then don't skateboard without one.

Any time you're going this fast you should have a helmet. It also helps to lower your center of gravity so your body glides across the ground rather than slamming against it. Better to have a little road rash than a concussion -- or death. I have a pretty nasty scar from road rash but I've never hit my head. If you find yourself losing too much skin while longboarding, go get yourself a jacket made for absorbing the inevitable friction from sliding across the road.

I'm a huge klutz, so I can barely walk and talk at the same time without ending up with a bruise, so I'm easily impressed. *grin*

I'm just starting longboarding (once I get a board) but I used to skateboard with my brothers back in the day. I can't go snowboarding here so I wanted something else to do.

Now this one has had a few more votes, but the other one never got a promote (which this one has) and the other one is twice the length, and it's always harder to get people to watch longer videos (well, it takes longer!!!).
Speaking for myself, I would certainly have upvoted the exact same video with guys instead of girls, and as at least one straight girl has voted for this I don't really think I'm going out on a limb to say I'm not probably alone here.

It's a bit sad that a video that would be totally unremarkable with a bunch of guys is so unusual with girls. I'll have to bookmark this to show my twin girls when they get a little older.



If this video was with guys people might have still enjoyed the music and the camera editing but i'm pretty sure people would comment on how slow they are moving and how they don't really do any note worthy ore extraordinary tricks to justify the filming of it in what seems to be a promotional video.
