00Scud00 says...I would think taking into account how long the person in question has been a member would mitigate that problem, you can't exactly just roll up a new 5 year member account, or produce 5 years worth of posts on the fly (at least not without some significant jiggery pokery in the hacking department). God, I had almost totally forgotten about that Lego video, I seem to recall trying to hunt it down myself at some point with no luck.
Spot on, and if you think about how the spammers operate you'll easily see why it is as it is The restrictions on new posters would be useless if you could sign up 10 sock puppet accounts and vote up each others vids. This raises the bar just a little bit higher.
There have been discussions about other ways to lose the P apart from posting a vid, but they haven't gone anywhere.
My offer to find you a siftable video still stands btw.
I really tried to find a fix for your excellent lego one, but haven't succeeded (yet).

kceaton1Well according to the clip of Stallone's arm wrestling show, apparently drinking automobile oil before a match does NOT make you stronger or better at it (much like Popeye and a can of spinach). BUT, it does seem to show that it has the ability to induce a superpower allowing a seemingly normal person to become schizophrenic...
BTW, I said superpower rather than mental illness, because from the schizophrenic individual's perspective he is surely battling Hell's most dangerous beasts, demons, and devils. Merely with the power of his arm wrestling techniques backed up by the miniature fission based nuclear reactor in his gut. It also leaves him in a perpetual manic state, where much like the Lego Movie, "Everything Is Awesome"...
I imagine that he may upgrade to a mixture of anti-freeze and power steering fluids; absolutely logical.
