Alex Jones Says Star Wars Is 'State-Funded' Propaganda
Do I have to watch it? This vid, I mean?
Star Wars is about rebels fighting a powerful empire that governs the galaxy. It glorifies taking down the establishment by a group of (well funded) gun-toting terrorists.
I suppose you could draw a parallel to the American war of independence against the British...
But in a modern context this would be like a group of domestic insurgents blowing up an aircraft carrier ("Death Star") while staging an armed rebellion against the US government (now a subsidiarity of "Gov-co," a joint venture of the Disney, Viacom, Lockheed Martin, JP Morgan Chase, and Koch Bros. companies).
Simply put, that's just not going to happen.

edit: Okay I just watched the above clip. That guy made even less sense than the BS that I just made up.
chris hedges-the left has been destroyed
1) "The Democratic Party in Europe would be a far-right party".
I don't think it would be. A decade ago, yes. But not today.
Look at what Blair (Labour) and Schröder (SPD) did to the left-of-center parties in their respective countries: they moved to the right, significantly. And by doing so, the entire political sphere was pushed to the right. Tory and CDU, the former right-of-center parties are not that different from the Democratic Party, nowadays at least.
The French are still holding on to the alignment of their political system. However, the austerity enforced by conservative moralists, mainly the troika of IMF/ECB/EU Commision as well as the German establishment, is putting immense pressure on Hollande to "encourage" a political shift to the right.
2) Resistance from within the political system.
We have two of these parties in this country, parties that, to some degree, oppose the establishment in areas of significance. They manage to mitigate some of the damage the establishment tries to inflict upon society, but if we're honest about it, most of it is only postponed by a comparatively short period of time. One might even argue that it's just for show so that the illusion of choice is kept up...
In any case, they cannot create the level of fear neccessary to keep the other parties in check. For that to change, the ownership structure in traditional media would have to be changed, radically. As of now, the marginalisation of anti-establishment forces is working effectively and any attempts at meaningful change are demonised.
3) A recently published document by JP Morgan illustrates just how openly their efforts against democratic societies are being waged these days:
In other words: these pinko Commie bastards and their anti-fascist constitutions are getting in the way of business, their excess of democracy needs to be trimmed.

High Voltage Electricity - Up Close & Personal.
Above-ground, high-power transmission of energy with arcane technology, not unlike the switch from DC to AC that angered Edison and caused JP Morgan to ambush Westinghouse and cinch-up power for the indefinite future.
Timber and mining concerns wield massive influence in our retarded governments' around the world-Influential assholes whose empires stand to gain from the perpetuity of such back-ass-ward means of providing energy to paying customers work tirelessly to maintain their monopolies.
Anyone who naively believes that the technology does not exist NOW to eliminate the world's network of above-ground aluminum and steel might want to re-visit their knowledge extant of history, and that of the cunts who feed us shit and keep us in the dark.
Sorry, could you explain what you mean here? What would Tesla want them to switch?
Walmart on strike
No, you are wrong.
Simply Put: Exploitation of its workers
Wal-Mart has a proven track record of doing the absolute minimum for it's workers in all cases.
The insurance they offer is a joke. Almost every employee is part time so they don't have to pay benefits. If you miss a shift because you need to work two jobs to get by, they cut your hours down to almost none.

There is nothing wrong with Capitalism as a model as long as you compensate your workers and reward them fairly for going above and beyond. If the system is designed to squeeze every possible dollar out of the system at the expense of your workers then that system is flawed and exploitative..

Wow, the "free thinkers" lash out.
Not a corporate shill, but work in a corporate environment. Not saying that corporate actions are always right, but you guys only ever want to tear down, and never propose how to fix it. Your own hatred blinds you to reality.
So F_ck Walmart, F_ck Target, F_ck Coke and Pepsi and all the other companies that make "ridiculous" profits at the expense of consumers and employees. Stop buying their crap, form a commune and move to the hills. Consumerism and free market are screwing up the country/planet right? So let's seize corporate profits, block them at every angle and get us back to the good old days, you know before Carnegie, Ford, JP Morgan, and Rockefeller. Hell before Edison while we're at it. Oh wait there has always been corporations doing business in the US. Oh well, enjoy your new life with the Amish.
No options for jobs?
Here's a 160 pages of options just for the 50 miles around Chicago:

There are always options. We tend to forget that just 50 years ago people were subsistence farming, living with 3 generations in a household, working 2 jobs, and no health insurance. Hell in some places that is still going on. But now we complain and strike because the manager bullies us and causes unnecessary stress (0:22) If that is really the case, then document it. It is called contributing to a hostile work environment and is covered under the sexual harassment laws in the US.
"Because I'm tired of working at a company where workers get cheated and cheaters get rewarded" What? Umm that would be a class action lawsuit like the ones that hit Walmart in the past.

For me it's much simpler. Requires very little thinking through, this hatred for all that Walmmart represents. The worst form of mega-corporate usurping of the individual, of regional infrastructure, local architecture....Walmart has killed the souls of so many small towns and has done it through a systematic cheapening of goods and services. The hydra is self-perpetuating with your help....One of her strongest tentacles is this inbred bitch's legal department working tirelessly to maintain the machine's tactics and contempt for the people who have bought their line and their sub-standard goods from a country that has gone from a fundamentally repressive government with the largest population of any country to one, massive sweatshop PLANETOID of human wage-slaves.
People have been groomed for accepting quantity over quality, convenience over consciousness.
Apologies for the harsh words, glad to hear you have nothing to do with this particular beast-I fucked Coke, Pepsi, Target, etc. years ago...Don't frequent any chain restaurants or purchase new cars either. Shop at thrift stores for clothing and order consumer goods online through "ma and pa" internet businesses.
From America, in America, but not OF America.

To me this person doesn't even matter...just put him down.
I mean the JP Morgan guy...what would happen if a superhero started offing them one by one? Would that scare the rest?
I know these two Irish guys that might help you out. They once said,"We're sort of like 7-11. We're not always doing business, but we're always open."
I don't know what you're talking about so you're going on the list. Dammit Archibald where did you put my list?!?!

Who is the "Kenyawaiian" you mentioned? I'm not sure I follow you.OH did you mean Obama?? Haha. Hm.. I'm not sure his pro-wall street actions can really qualify him to be a marxists--unless you mean the socialization of private debt...
Then again, I'm not sure that Wall Street really represents a market that is "free and open" to me anymore. It seems like a casino that is controlled or manipulate by a handful of uber-wealthy..
Anyway..
Do you think that the capitalism that is practised now is true capitalism?
I don't think either of us would be happy with pure socialism, but do you think that there are any services should be socialized or government run?

Like most kollijes, princeton has been occupied for decades by lefty goons.
It never gets through to these clowns that risky lending practices were encouraged and then "guaranteed" by the socialists in government (most peeps won't take nearly as many stupid risks when their own money is at stake).
The occupoopers should be protesting in front of the marxist Kenyawaiian's VERY temporary home. He not only siphons enormous amounts of money from Wall Street but then supports these mobs, or claims to. As Trinity said, "That's a nice trick."

what you should notice about this though is that the egyptians invented it, and mysteriously JP Morgan didn't invest in it. Hmmmmm. i wonder what he was thinking.
