Dolphins - Douchebags of The Sea

Spelling Bee - Num...what?

White says...

a girl i worked with once was homeschooled until 11th grade and went to high school senior year just so she could go to prom. she was a very nice girl. hott to. the only problem was she had a very hard time adapting socially. when she got a bad tip from a group of customers once, my friend told her "you really got shafted there" and she responded with, "whats a shafted?" she was a great girl, but it was just little stuff like that that showed the trouble homeschooled kids usually have.

George Harrison-Smothers Brothers (1968)

kronosposeidon says...

Jesus, he was 25 in that appearance, yet he still looked like he was a high school senior. Was he ever that young? Was I ever that young?

Just six years later, check out how much older he looked. He was 31, but judging by the creases in his cheeks you'd guess he was 40. I guess if you suck on Thai stick all day that will happen.

The sad tale of Pinchy the lobster

Snoop Dogg Lashes out at Bill O'Reilly

MINK says...

just proves that QM's main aim is to be hated, because being respected is much more difficult.

However, I share the sentiments about "various assorted green day loving high school seniors"... that bit I can understand. It's easy to watch Loose Change and hate George Bush, so lots of lazy people do it. I don't support their uninformed preconceptions any more than I support QM's uninformed preconceptions. I am glad QM is here otherwise it would definitely be just a whiney whinefestival, rehashing stuff you read in The Nation and heard on TDS.

The key to wisdom is to know that you don't know anything.

Snoop Dogg Lashes out at Bill O'Reilly

quantumushroom says...

I like snoop, but if that's the best he can do without a script...threaten violence against critics between joints...pathetic. And the fact some of you see nothing wrong with his threats because after all, snoops is just a po' black former gang member who can rhyme cat with hat, while O'Reilly is the Big Bad White Meany...ye gods, give it up. You can no more judge me than argue with ingested poison.

The line about Holland? It's called a JOKE...HUMOR, certainly not A-list material, but any kind of humor is Public Enemy #1 to these dour-faced liberal intellectuals trying to save the world. Now if you find my stuff offensive you're an idiot, because almost everyone here has watched Chris Rock and Chappelle and both say far worse and no one calls them on it.

Some of these fellows on the left like to pretend they've never said the word nigger; it's against the edicts of the liberal religion. According to liberals, blacks are inferior and deserving of special help, even though black people have been around for thousands of years longer than the racist democrap party. Remember, Republicans FREED the slaves long before liberals re-shackled the minds of far too many with their poor-me victim nonsense.

Not that any of you deserve an explanation, the reason why I went off on Kanye West is because he's a fking moron; he used the time and money of a well-known rescue organization trying to raise money for victims of a national disaster to wax druggetic in a dumbass tirade against the President, who has no control over the weather. It won't ever be known how many would-be donors he turned off with his idiotic rant, and the only reason libtards support this idiot or are afraid to criticize is because he's melanin-enhanced?

What if Mike Myers had gone off on Jesse Jackson like West did Bush...Myers would've have been crucified by the drive-by media.

The tyranny of a minority--hiding behind a certain peoples, using them as shields for so-called "sensitivity"--is what too many lefties are about.

Remember, I put up with many of the characters around here as well: pro-homicide bombing, Palestinian lovers, unrepentant Stone Age Muslims, obnoxious atheists (do you really think more than 2 people watch 2 minutes of those hour-long Dawkins- fests)? and various assorted Green Day-loving high school seniors.

Believe it or else, I really don't have hatred for anyone here...your opinions are your own.

If I were running VS, I would not ban a single one of you for voicing an opinion. Unlike the PC'ers, I don't fear differences of opinion. And many who cyber-hate me feel about the same. Keep going!

Yale University senior's embarassingly bad video resume

theo47 says...

In his 11-page resumé Vayner claims that he runs a charitable organization, is the CEO of an investment firm and has written a book on the Holocaust, among other things. Research by bloggers has shown many of these claims to be false:

* His investment firm's website lists a non-existent address, and the charitable organization is using an unauthorized Charity Navigator logo. The president of Charity Navigator publicly announced that he believed Vayner should be expelled from Yale for this.

* Excerpts of Vayner's self-published book, Women's Silent Tears, a "unique gender-focused perspective on the Holocaust in Eastern Europe" made available for free at Lulu.com show that at least some of its content had been plagiarized from an online Holocaust encyclopedia.

Before Vayner had even begun his freshman year his tendency to exaggerate was first discussed in an article in Rumpus, a Yale humor magazine. He apparently had visited as a high school senior, and told unbelievable stories about himself. Among his claims to people on campus, or to the public, since starting at Yale:

* He claimed that he "is one of four people in the state of Connecticut qualified to handle nuclear waste".
* He was employed by both the Mafia and the CIA during his childhood.
* He gave tennis lessons to Harrison Ford and Sarah Michelle Gellar.

In addition, Vayner apparently arranged for a film he had made about Zen Buddhism to be displayed in a Yale class on eastern philosophies. The film included a "b-roll of Vayner performing various physical feats of questionable veracity.
