The inventor previously worked as a successful stylist for 80's hair bands. Unfortunately when the taste for bad music dried up, so did his business. He was stuck with a warehouse full of hydrogen peroxide.

I always hated Klaus' nasally cranium and that hair (or lack thereof) is very funny. "I'm not only a singer in the Hair Band For Men, but I'm also a client." That one guy's got a great cop mustache.

Thank God? Unfortunately, it also killed my way of making a living. You may be thanking God, but it left me homeless, and without a job. Not to mention the thousands of other folks who worked in the rock cubs that lost their jobs when a ton of the clubs that hired 70's, 80's, & early 90's style cover bands closed.

But then again, look how long "grunge" stuck around, and look where rock music is heading today. Right back to the hair band rock and roll style it was before Kurt the rest of them showed up. Don't get me wrong, I like this song and other Nirvana stuff. Hell, we played this song two times a night. And I loved singing it. (Used to do the Weird Al version for fun sometimes.) But, I guess it goes to show you that you really can't kill rock and roll.

Still running on the 80s vibe hubby and I had last night. We had a youtube duel last night...laptops side-by-side. The challenge was coming up w/ the worst bad hair band videos then we degraded down to just worst music videos.

I of course had an edge from all the Sift-fu I've accquired over the years. He didn't stand a chance.

I don't think they are overselling his obscurity. Ask the average person who Edison and Tessla are and they will definitely at least know Edison was an inventor. If they recognize the name Tessla at all they will think of the shitty 80's hair band.

If anyone is interested, this man's name is Michael Batio, but he also goes by Michael Angelo. he was in the 80s hair band Nitro!, who claimed to be the fastest band in the world. He has been putting out solo releases now for a while, he is the fastest guitar player in the world, and I feel bad for him having to do In-Stores like this one. His original music is very good.
