Waterfall Defies Gravity Due to Strong Winds

cloudballoon says...

I can't stand Neil DeGrasse Tyson. Everytime I see him I kept thinking "is he 'roided up or did he just sniff some coke?" I don't need science to be screamed at me (or the arrogance) all the time. Even Adam Savage is far more subdued in comparison and he's plenty hyperbolic in Mythbusters. I never understood why he got such a celebrity status. He offers little new insight on his shows or guest appearances. I just wish I get see a much better modern "science/space guy" on TV.

I think Neil DeGrasse Tyson would argue that they were in fact going exactly the right way.

To wake up a different person every day

spawnflagger says...

It would be cool if Michael T. Weiss made a guest appearance 1 day...

If that happened to me, I would film myself while sleeping - you know, for science.

I wonder if the character chooses his/her accents to match the way he/she looks?
Since he/she doesn't gain new knowledge or skills, and keeps all the same memories with each new day, I have a hard time believing that his/her accent would change at all- so I guess they are just making it up.

I also bet they will make it a love story - where he has multiple 1-night stands with the same (bisexual?) woman and gets to know her more and more, then she wakes up before him 1 morning and he tells her the weird truth.

Good Will Hunting - Idiosyncrasies

poolcleaner says...

^ Almost every American sketch comedy show from the late-70s and early-80s, Popeye, Mork & Mindy, Good Morning Vietnam, Dead Poets Society, Baron Munchausen, The Fisher King, Toys, Hook, Aladdin (say what you will about the movie, but his genie is THE genie), Mrs. Doubtfire, The Birdcage (remake), Good Will Hunting, Patch Adams, What Dreams May Come (I liked it at least), One hour Photo, Insomnia (remake), and then there's all of his random, unforgetable guest appearance and talk show circuit adlibbing...

Or do you just mean in recent years?

Heh - maybe Ashes2Flames and MrFisk should get their own channel in two weeks!
Keep us engaged with their wily antics, those crazy two.

With regular guest appearances from choggie, lucky760 and an urn representing the former DrAlciabiades.

Who knows, maybe it'll get Good Aaaron out of the woodwork, RIP.
