The Single Most Geeky Thing I Have EVER Seen!!

Oh crap - I remember watching this when it first aired... Worse still I remember being impressed by how well she did!
I think it's impressive too, just cringily lame at the same time. Still, it's good to have a passion I guess

Why? Sorry, but I hate Star Trek nerds.
On the plus side we can be thankful he didn't make it look like a Star Trek door - I guess that'll be in his next video
Upvoting it for geekiness all the same, reckon it takes a bit of know-how to put that together.
Maybe it's time I created a channel... (Sift Talk Post)
I've had plenty of times where I've felt weird putting something in geek, when it clearly should have been in tech. Geek seems to be people in my mind, or overtly geeky things, while tech is technology, gadgets, computers etc.

John Oliver (TDS) at 1:05. He looked so small and geeky during his brief British TV career.
Still does a podcast called 'The Bugle' for The Times with another comedian. It's not bad.

I think I may have mentioned calling it the middleeast channel before, but it was called out as being a potentially annoying *invocation to type due to the two e's next to each other.

I didn't realise that technology was shot down before. To me geek is "geeky" stuff... but there is cool and innovative technologies that I wouldn't necessarily call "geek". To say everything to do with computing is geek is a bit dated and stereotypical. Besides, geek to me could include really nerdy videos that have nothing to do with computing at all. If geek is supposed to be computers only, I'd argue that it should be renamed to reflect that...
My 2 cents.

Yes! I would totally come out to Denmark for my D&D nights. You guys have better beer available, anyway. <_<

As soon as I have copious amounts of cash to spend on the airfare, it's on.

Thank you, Lann! That means so much to me.
By the way, I started playing with a D&D group every other Sunday. I have a druid and the mouse you made me is my animal companion, a dire rat. I bring the mouse and my druid figurine with me and it makes me feel so cool and geeky, hehe.

Japanese Precision at it's Best/Weirdest
Not sure about why this is considered impressive. Geeky American teenagers do this all the time, just while carrying instruments and making music on them. So... this is just Japanese adults in tuxs doing stuff that requires about 30% of the skill of geeky American teenagers. If anything it's just sad.
Meet Rock-It
Amazing. The step would be then to find out what kind of objects produce the best sound when they stick that thing to it, and then include it in the retail package...Oh wait.
It's cool for geekiness's sake, but this this is 2010. You can buy a non-gimmicky speaker that's 2 inches in diameter, eg. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001UEBN42
