Inside "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" video game and book
I just played the demo last night, and was honestly a bit underwhelmed. It was fun, but the controls felt a but clunky. The force powers were cool and it's always fun to be a bad guy.
IMO, Lucas needs to pass the Star Wars storytelling torch to someone else. I'd love to see what Simon Pegg/Edgar Wright or Kevin Smith would do with the franchise.
Star Wars Retrospective - Part 6
Aside from the Doom sharware version, Dark Forces was the first FPS I ever played, I spent many a hour playing and replaying it. Jedi Knight was pretty good, the live action cut-scenes while on the cheesy side, were kind of a neat gimmick, outcast was great as well they really refined the force powers and lightsaber work. I never played academy, I think I had the demo, but never gave it a shot.
One of the things that I really liked were all the different environments. Being set in a universe where faster than light travel was an every day occurrence gave a good opportunity to design levels that were more than just creeping through corridors that were all pretty much the same.
Star Wars: Clone Wars animated series trailer
The art style is based on Genndy Tartakovsky's Clone Wars cartoon series from 2003. He had headed series like Samurai Jack and Powerpuff Girls, which also used this style of drawing.
If you can get a chance to go back and watch the episodes, do so. They were short, but really entertaining - using lots of big force powers, which made Windu look much more powerful than he did in the movies. I would imagine we will see the same here.
Sequel to the best homemade lightsaber duel ever!
messenger: as this is based on the Star Wars universe and they are using lightsabres you can sort of guess that they might have force powers increasing their reaction speeds![](https://videosift.com/vs5/emoticon/wink.gif)

Star Trek vs. Star Wars: What would happen if the starship Enterprise encountered the Death Star?
Nice, but I'd rather see a Borg cube fight the Death star. I don't think Vader & Co. could defend against the borg. Imagine what would happen once they assimilated Vader. Every Borg drone would have Force powers.
I guess at that point, the only thing that could stop them (Either the death star or a borg cube) would be Q himself.
Because we all know, Q owns.
