None of the things I've mentioned are even slightly controversial in academia, let alone new age-y, which has more to do with crystals and Enya than cultural studies. If you believe that you are free from the influence of culture, then maybe you are. You need not give me your age or shoe size in order to tell me this. My assumptions don't define you.

I had a crush on Enya when I was a teenager. I guess in 15 years that hasn't changed.

Yeah, I'm sure you'll be applauding and putting fucking Enya tracks over footage of major hurricanes, eroding coastlines and drowning Bangladeshis in a few years. Fer chrissakes, that glacier's probably hundreds of thousands of years old. Yay it's gone! Wheeeee.

The song is Storms in Africa by Enya, which is on her Watermark album. That and her self-titled debut album are pure magic, for those who haven't overplayed them to death like me.

The tune, I suppose, is by Enya. Sounds like her and she's listed in the tags. Don't know which song it is, though I would say it doesn't matter--every Enya song seems like the same song to me.

Damn she is beautiful, in body, face, voice and language. Oh yeah, Google images has ... more. To be honest, I prefer these clips. She has the sort of style and grace that makes her more beautiful than sexy (although the breaking news story above still stands).

Ladybug - welcome to testosterone. Sorry, it's just how we're wired. At least we're being honest in how we feel. The music sounds like high budget porn film music, I'd expect better from Enya or Diane Arkenstone (not that I know very much about her).
