Perfect Egg Rolls Recipe - Tamagoyaki Omelette 계란말이

Filipino Eggrolls Ala Choggie

chingalera says...

They were thick -I pictured standard small egg roll sized instead of taquito-gauged....more rolling! That last pile there was round 5-We killed about 20 between 3 peeps in about 30 minutes....tasty-I've done all the deep-frying I'll do for the entire year!

I had fun with this-2 days of egg roll devastation (30 the first run and 25 spring rolls the day after), an insanely rich chicken-potato cheese casserole of sheppard's I doctored a bit (helped his ratings when judged)...and 3 rounds of Eggdillas so far, fondly revisiting the Huevos Rancheros Hangover Treatment Plan-NOTE: the sauteed tomatoes I added at the end were not part of the original recipe-I slapped sliced tomato in the hot skillet and reduced them with chopped green onions, and a couple of hot sauces...The judge enjoyed this better than the Gouchcogganger sauce but the sauce was a stand-alone hit.

PM me dystop and we'll exchange info, get that shirt right out to ya. If you decline the offer, feel free to give it up to second place suzy should you be so inclined.

So all we need now is for someone to sift these videos, first one is done, one to follow-Sorry shepppard, I did not take anything but stills of your dish...very boring process, full of the same excitement of watching your mom in the kitchen.

although one of the most infuriating videos i've ever watched, to the extent where i actually wanted to cry all over my cat at points, it's important to note that this is basically 'The Best Of... Police Corruption' set to spooky music

a small percentage of human beings are fucking scumbags with no morals or respect for others, and very little brainpower; creatures who spend their lives tearing people to pieces for personal gain and hulk-smashing all that gets in their way. unfortunately, as with all professions, some of these slip through the screening process and end up fucking us all up the poop-chute whilst also wearing a police uniform, permanently warm taser in fist. they're just scumbags with badges and not the norm.

the real problem, as fuckfist points out, is at the top of the tree. the weasels that supposedly overlook the system on our behalf with as much competence as a wet fart, so precious about their targets that they turn a blind eye to all the bad eggs rolling around their basket in favour of a better report card for the year. who's watching them? fucking no-one. and that's why they continue to sit back, sign a few pieces of paper and play with their little winkles as their bank accounts fill with public money.

it's not the people on the ground i have the major problem with, although the cuntish minority as displayed in the video are beyond exasperating: it's the honchos who have the ability to (relatively) instantly make the changes necessary in order to better the system but either can't be bothered putting their necks on the line or are simply so incompetent that they wouldn't know how. get someone with both brain and balls at the summit and eventually the majority of these mindless scumbag cops - the twats that everyday people encounter - will have a hard time either staying in the force or getting there in the first place.

saying all that, i'm not dissing this video at all. it needs to be seen by as many as possible, as do all these violent cop clips, in an effort to instigate some kind of change. it just bugs me that we can't get footage of the commissioners/chiefs causing more damage in a plush office somewhere, from the comfort of their desks, bent phallus in hand.

The Food Lobby Goes to School: Who Decides What Kids Eat?

A quick view of the menu at the end disgusts me. "Whole Grain Chicken Egg Rolls" Are they f'ing kidding? "Cheese Dippers with Salsa" as an entire meal?

They should be serving this shit to the lobbyists every day.

Akemashite Omedeto Gozaimasu (Blog Entry by persephone)

A lot of food tastes like seafood in Japan, even though it may not be seafood itself. This is because the basis of Japanese cooking is dashi, which is the stock of kombu (kelp) and fish flakes, like bonito. It's called the flavour of the sea and dashi is used to boil vegies, it's mixed with the egg in omelettes and egg rolls, it's the broth used in miso soup, noodles and hot pots and much more. Even rice is boiled with some kombu, so it can have a seaweedy taste.

Dashi is easy to make and very good for you. Most young people in Japan use the instant dashi packs, but older women/men know how to make the real deal. I was fortunate to meet some older talented women who passed on a lot of their knowledge to me.

We eat pretty well, including home-style Japanese cooking about 2-3 times a week. Thanks go out to Kuri sama, Daisy and Mayumi san for their patience and care in teaching me to cook kateika ryori. Arigato gozaimasu! Taihen osewa ni natte imasu yo!

Ancient art of Reverse Hard Boiled Egg (starts at 3:40)

Video isn't that great if you don't speak Japanese, and I don't, but this is really cool. I'm gonna try this. This could be one of those digg explosion videos. It's starting with 40 views.

Can someone translate if I'm missing any steps other than keep the egg rolling while it hardboils.
