Drudge Report has a link saying that the local sheriff's office has done some investigation and has found "no known ties between the ROF, Jordan Jereb or the Broward shooter."

That doesn't necessarily mean that the connection is false, but terrorist groups etc. have falsely claimed that someone was acting on their behalf or was a member of their group before.

I find Drudge to be a pretty good site to keep in my shortlist for news. Gotta keep the definite tilt to the right in mind, but then again being wary against bias is a good practice in general.

Always enlightening (if rather unpleasant) to hear what some of the extreme voices like Coulter are saying. And to be fair, she was somewhat more coherent than usual.

But I thought Maher did an excellent job of asking very legitimate, logical questions and then giving her enough leash with her responses to get herself into trouble.

If you hate Trump, watch this video. And other videos from his supporters and toadies. And read the Drudge Report on occasion. Because as Sun Tzu said:

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Both parties clearly pine for the old days where the party bigwigs gathered in a smoke-filled room and decided who the nominee was going to be.

Sometimes it seems like that system resulted in higher-quality candidates. Or at least candidates who were better able to hide their sleazy politician auras behind a screen of charisma.

But shit like this makes it very clear how and why that system was shady and corrupt.

Unfortunately, I don't think this story will be big enough news to change anything. The likelihood of the GOP going to a contested convention and foisting some candidate on voters that hasn't even been running (Drudge Report suggests Mitt Romney or Paul Ryan are likely choices of the party) is much more likely to cause a big enough splash to change things.

I still want to see President Drumph.

The fact that he represents the biggest trainwreck that American politics has ever faced is precisely *why* I hope he gets elected. The system is already a hopelessly broken dog and pony show; maybe the faster we shit on its grave, the faster it becomes blatantly fubared enough to prompt the amount of revolutionary outcry needed to fix it.

Even if *that* doesn't happen, though, Drumph has already started the self-destruct timer on the GOP. That *desperately* needed to happen -- but the impact will be all the better if he beats out the GOP "great white hope" establishment candidates like Rubio. Drudge Report even claims that Mitt Romney will "enter the race" or possibly run as an independent (propped up by GOP $$$) if Rubio and Cruz don't make up ground.

I don't see the GOP surviving much more of this, which is a very positive outcome. So, thank you Drumph, and keep up the good (by which I mean abysmal) work!

11. obama killed all the student loans. there is no more access to student loans anywhere, eventhough i am currently living off of student loans. also, academia is where terrorist sympathizers hide out. which explains why her 2 most liberal children are working on graduate degrees in liberal things like physics and disability studies. and her conservative children didn't go to college. my brother and i are really the close minded fascists. if you point out my moms graduate degrees she says she got it during the clinton administration then she went and got a job with it outside of education. unlike my brother and i who don't actually have real jobs. even though my brother works for the military and the military pays for his education. nothing makes any sense.

most of what they say doesnt make any sense to me. and vice versa. but i find if i break things down into really small individual issues then we agree like... climate change isnt man made... but it is bad for the planet to dump all of our trash in the ocean and bury toxic waste and cut the tops off all the mountains and burn things into the atmosphere. .... but there is not such thing as global warming.

or our border with mexico is a huge security risk and people in el paso are terrified of the drug wars raging in juarez and we need to deport all the undocumented workers and close our border for good until mexico sorts their shit out.
but women and children who flee from mexico are refugees and should be treated as such.

even when we talk about anarchism, they like anarchism. but if you were to say i was left wing and had radical leanings... they'd freak the fuck out.

so their values and morals are mostly intact, and theyre mostly just like mine... we just use different languages and theyre not worried about atrocities that happen in other places.

A nice change of pace, as I'm tired of seeing the headline "Record Cold Temperatures in _________" on Drudge Report over and over again.

Fortunately the socialists have an answer for the billions of years of endless global warming and cooling cycles of the earth: raise taxes.

I've been meaning to point this out, but isn't a bit ironic being on a website like this, arguing against a free market? this and digg are basically the only sources for news for me. clearly those posting here enjoy the nature of the website--yet all the videos are submitted by users, and are submitted to a process of "natural selection" whereabouts good videos are voted up and bad videos are kinda brushed aside. there is no single person dictating what news, or what clips are the best like there are on CNN or drudge report. this very website is a perfect example of how a "free market" can provide quality information--all without any central leadership dictating the content. because of this I am able to obtain relatively unbiased and diverse news--precisely because the users of this board hold so many different viewpoints and interests. if there was some sort of central leadership (like say, CNN) this wouldn't be true--there would be only one viewpoint, and all the content would reflect that. that is the beauty of the free market, and that is the beauty of videosift.

^you must live in a box if you think that people are either liberal or conservative. I don't watch tv, listen to the radio, or get my news from drudge report...so I don't know why you think I listen to, much less agree with those three characters.

Good question. I'd like to know the answer to that as well. I'd bet money mine was first. Although, I believe the other has subtitles. I left a comment on the other quoting Fredo Corleone, with the implication I'd been passed over. Get it? Anyways, whoever was first should get the others upvotes. Oh, and for the record, I thought this was awful and in hindsight I should have posted and downvoted it myself. It's supposed to have occurred in Atlanta. Drudge report had it up for about 30 minutes before it vanished.

Couple of <blink> tags, a few Drudge Report-style flashing sirens.. Yeah that should do it :-P
