The Swiss, the Danes, and the Kiwis* are not the "leaders of the free world". While I agree that interventionism plays a large part in the legitimate grievances people have against America, I would say that a percentage would be ideologically opposed to the west and America is simply the largest target there. Reality, as always, is not that simple. There are a myriad of reasons America is targeted, some political, some economic and yes, some people genuinely do "hate freedom".

So yeah, you're right, but I don't think it's the whole story.

* I deliberately left the British out of that list. As a former colonial power, they have their own set of issues and in case you missed it, they're not exactly popular around the world.

43 inches is 3 ft 7 inches.. and that's to his shoulder. He's kinda tall, at least This one is not quite that tall, but they are HUGE

I've had the opportunity to encounter a Great Dane before, those dogs are awesome! And stay away from their tail when their wagging it, it's like a metal cable being whipped around...

I remember listening to Dane Cook a lot coming out of Highschool, me and my buddies listened to his albums and laughed our asses off. Sure the jokes weren't particularly clever, I always found his energy much more funny than his material.
Good voices, strong gestures and a half decent narrative. He knew how to tell a good story.
I found him less and less funny as I got older but all of a sudden it just became "cool" to hate Dane Cook and a lot of my friends (including myself) jumped on the band wagon.


There are a lot of people that discount the energy of a joke because they can't quantify it in their little world of OCD intellectualism.

You're right. Those commenters are likely confused too.

Dane Cook did not succeed easily. He made his own CDs, DVDs, website, etc. he worked hard to promote himself and it worked. Not the funniest guy in the world but I really don't understand the hate.
