Editing is a powerful tool, but so is music. I remember when they aired previews for Eyes Wide Shut. Initially, they used a eerie piano piece. Shortly after that, though, they changed the music to Chris Isaak's "Baby Did a Bad, Bad Thing". The clip was entirely unchanged, but the mood was completely different.

Anyone know the piece in this recut? I know I've heard it before in trailers.

I saw Chris Isaak in an interview once and he said when he was meeting with the producers of this video and they asked him if he had any preferances all he said was, "I got a pretty ugly mug, so just make me look good.".. or something along those lines... in response to this the producer said, "Well, how about we have you roll around on a beach with an underwear model, nobody will be looking at you." And Chris said, "Cool."

God, another horrible Chris Isaak cover. He deserves better.

He is getting a chunk of whatever money they get, so there's that.

I'm a big Chris Isaak fan, and that's just horrible.
