Deleted scene from "Knocked Up" (extremely NSFW)

joedirt says...

Probably Brokeback is from the same MOVIE STUDIO, SO IT HAD TO BE REMOVED. But someone got pissed they editted their "art" so to get revenge leaked in on the intertubes.

Or the MPAA ratings whoever folks decided it was too graphic saying blank-hole eaten out. Which probably is NC-17 material just cause that's how they roll.

The Brokeback Redemption - what really went on behind bars

Krupo says...

It's been a while since the rush of Brokeback-ish jokes - perhaps this one was overlooked?

This is the superior version of several similar joke videos - I first noticed a Shawshank recut after I wrote about the Edge contest.

You can watch the other video here. I don't think it's as good as this one though.

Also, if you want the full screen rather than widescreen version of this video, the creator made one of those too.

George Bush + Stephen Harper = Brokeback (scandal in Canada)

plastiquemonkey says...

from the Globe and Mail:

QUEBEC -- Call it poor judgment or just bad taste, Parti Québécois Leader André Boisclair's appearance in a TV parody of Brokeback Mountain is drawing fire from all sides, including members of his own party.

Mr. Boisclair appeared in a comedy sketch to be aired next month on MusiMax channel featuring caricatures of Prime Minister Stephen Harper and U.S. President George W. Bush seen naked from the waist up in a tent.

As the playful Bush character throws cherries at Harper's nipples covered with whipped cream, the real André Boisclair peeps his head through an opening in the tent. "Quebec won't get mixed up in something like that," an awkward Mr. Boisclair says, drawing on his limited talents as an actor to deliver his line.

The parody, based on the critically acclaimed movie about the relationship between two homosexual cowboys, draws attention to Mr. Boisclair's homosexuality, a key element in the sketch's punch line...

My Name Is Earl (Broke Back Edition) (Too Funny!)

A small complaint (NSFW) couple curse words.

i figured either post the million + brokeback trailer spoofs or post one of the best parts of the movie...it was this, the 'those aren't pillows', the 'if i wanted a joke i'd follow you into the bathroom and watch you take a piss', or my personal fav 'three coins in a fountain.....'

Why Was No One in US Government Held Accountable for 9/11?

haggis says...

Christ, you'd think we were talking about ancient history.

American and British foreign policy for the last 5 years has been, largely, a response to 9/11. Countless thousands have been killed as a result of our military action. When there are so many anomalies, co-incidences, and unanswered questions, how on earth can you write this off as 'old news' - especially when we've caught our governments and intelligence agencies lying about e.g. pre-Iraq-war intelligence, and when the history of Western false flag operations is so colourful?

Do you REALLY want to stake the future of this planet on the benevolence of these people? Really? If it turns out that you're right, then great, we're just a bunch of silly old conspiracy theorists. But if there's just a chance that we're right, then you owe it to your grandkids not to bury your head in the sand.

At the very least, if you don't give a crap, then fine, don't vote. But VS is big enough for videos about 9/11 to co-exist with skateboarding dogs and brokeback mashups - the voting is democratic, so stop whining. Some people are actually interested in this stuff, and VS is as good a venue as any for it.

Brokeback Bunnies.

therealblankman says...

I'm actually quite curious why someone might down-vote this video. I've submitted a few of these "Movies in 30 seconds re-enacted by bunnies" over the last few days, I find most of them to be absolutely hilarious. I plan on submitting more as I'm able to find them hosted on one or more of the video services that videosift makes use of. Does it have something to do, one way or the other, with the theme of Brokeback Mountain, or is it something specific about this video in particular? Are there overt bunny-phobics here? Care to discuss?

Star Wars Deleted Scene (Luke & Biggs)

Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag. (show it anyway)

Is it just me, or are Luke and Biggs actually lovers? Ripe for a brokeback mash-up. I've heard about this scene, but never run across it. Thanks Ant. Why wasn't this on my DVD box set?

Cowboys are Frequently, Secretly (Fond of Each Other)

sfjocko says...

I hadn't heard this before. The lyrics surprised me, I didn't expect them to be that direct. I just learned that this is one of those songs Willie has been singing for many years, not for performances as much as for fun, on the bus, etc. With Brokeback's popularity, this was the time to release it if there ever was one.
