Radicalize

newtboy says...

Too bad you fall for the excuses.

Of course, since you support militia kid, you also support the antifa guy who shot the patriot prayer Nazi who was driving through town shooting black people with pepper balls and marbles from paint ball guns, and spraying them with bear mace too, exact same self defense against a violent mob attacking him with weapons. He's a good man you're glad killed that violent thug, right?

But no, because the parties political affiliations are reversed, I expect you stand with the unpatriotic prayer fucker who was the aggressor and first to use weapons just like you stand with the threatening armed murderer who illegally crossed state lines armed with the intent to play police using live rounds, went off and found some trouble he was hoping to find, and murdered two and disabled one.

Rittenhouse is going to need a pardon, he's going to be convicted. You don't get a pass on murder just because your victim isn't Andy Griffith, not that your characterizations have any resemblance to reality. He went illegally armed across state lines looking to shoot someone like Trump said he should, and did. No crying "poor little boy got scared by big bad liberals" now, snowflake. He went looking for it.

But since you support murdering child molesters and woman abusers, I can think of one target that stands before all others.

Jesusismypilot said:

The vid in the OP is unhinged, it's too bad people fall for it.

Thankfully the Rittenhouse incident is mostly on video and he will likely be exonerated of just about all charges. I don't think he's a hero but I'm not sad he put an end to a rampaging child molester, a violent woman abuser and the bicep of a threatening armed thug.

SWAT Team Damages House

zor says...

This reminds me of a story I read where 4 chan like people call the police and use various techniques to describe what is happening with the end goal of getting a swat team to show up at a target's house and do what they do. I think they referred to it as "swatting" someone. It's scary that small municipalities (and large ones) have swat teams that would fall for this and even scarier that they have them to begin with. We need more Andy Griffith style bobbies or Mounties or something. Get rid of these assholes in swat who are using those techniques to create their own law. Just go knock on the fucking door! Or send a robot to knock on the door! Christ.

Sgt. Shamar Thomas on OWS - Countdown 10-27-2011

kceaton1 says...

The problem I always have with cops and sometimes the politicians above them, but mostly the cops. Is that in almost any matter of misconduct the cases will turn into an us versus them situation. Even how a cop goes about his business catching crime is a very hostile us versus them mentality.

This begins to create problems when they are out to settle scores, to "save face" (which might be a reason they went after the protesters so much), and the worse when cops decide that a few rules can be bent (much like the last one). Then when just enough power or money gets near... They then can become a living and breathing criminal ring with their own front; semi-mafia style. The us versus them mentality is what can make your everyday cop a criminal.

It's how it's taught to the graduates now, but to help change this us vs. them mentality we need to weave the cops into their community at ever chance. So much so that they might become a pillar of their community. This may require more police, but I would like to see the term "peace-officer" actually used more often. Slow day? Have them teach classes to the community. Make them patrol the park and say hello to everyone there and ask them why they came to the park that day. I'm sure there may be some break through cities, where this takes place already (think like old town sheriffs like Andy Griffith--someone that can fell the pule of his town.

But, metropolises feel more like an ordered militia; especially, in the cases of OWS. We'll see, but I really don't want to see this escalate. The mayor better do some HARD thinking.

/kinda long; post if you know if the mayor has said anything yet-I have yet to see any

spam television was why I cut cable in the mid 90's and turned to piracy of television.

in the early and mid 90's I worked for DirecTV and we had entire scripts to explain to complainers about commercials and also spam ranked by channel, at the time espn ranked #1 in spam. with like 10 mins of content to 20 mins of spam ratio.

We'd have these groups come in from the networks to explain to us and give us talks on marketing and such with commercials, and I finally woke up.

After I left the job to move onto working in network operations admin for ISP, I turned off pay for tv, and have been a television pirate ever since.

no commercials, no annoyances, ever. And it doesn't affect ratings, as I was on the inside and worked closely with nielson families at one point in my career. Which the ratings system is a joke anyhow. Which is why half the scifi stuff gets cancelled when it has huge support, most nielson families the ratings box is ran by the older father or mother who don't really care for the scifi stuff in the first place and would rather watch Andy Griffith reruns.

the networks of course hate me from 1996 to today non stop pirating, and thanks to companies like Western Digital who make set top box for pirates by pirates is their unofficial motto in the forums.

The WD TV live box supports all codecs normally used by pirates, it's like the vlc player of set top boxes, costs 100 bucks and will stream any downloaded video files off a shared folder on your pc or you can plug in a usb thumbdrive or hard drive. Or with added app you can install a torrent program that lets you stream while torrenting all in 1080p HD.

Let me get this straight, Andy Griffith plays the kidnapper? I donno, if he we're hunting down the kidnapper who was played by Ritter I would watch it all day.

Your "Show of Force" thing is true, but not in all cases, and I submit that many times it only undermines your authority. As I've said before, we have too many Rambos and not enough Andy Griffith's. We have too many guys with power fetishes who can't wait for an excuse to slap somebody around.

I was lying on a park bench one time and a cop rode his motorbike right up to my face. He didn't have to do that. He could have just said "Sir, that's not allowed here."

You know that the cops are needed, then you should also know WHY they 'have to be fucking assholes all of the time to get the job done.' You've got a cop for a brother. Ask him why, for god sakes, he's your brother.

It is necessary because you must show intimidation when approaching a stranger to establish a state of dominance. It is unspoken body language that's practiced out in the field. You as an individual may think it's unnecessary, tell that to all the people wearing uniforms, on duty and active, and they may slightly disagree with you there.

It would be so nice to just figure out who is potentially dangerous and who isn't without having to go through all that. But GUESS WHAT! YOU CAN'T!!! SURPRISE!!!!! So cops establish dominance early. Can you really blame them? They're trying to protect themselves as well, otherwise these people see fear, hesitation, weakness. You can't afford to give them a benefit of a doubt.

A person could be well dress with perfumes, a caucasian female with blonde hair, and chances are she could be a cop killer. Equality for all, no bias, no racism people say. There you go, equal asshole treatment for all. Cops are being just as cautious with you as they would with any other random drunkard out in the street. So what are you complaining about?

You may think it's unnecessary but there's a reason why they do it. Everything has a reason. You see this especially in rough neighborhoods. You wouldn't see a cop do this in, let's say in Beverly Hills, CA. But let's say, in Oakland you'd definitely see the cop approach you with a swagger and an attitude.

I don't think I need to explain the reasons why. It's pretty damn obvious. Just get it, please. So live in a richer area, don't hang out in fishy places. That's all I gotta say. As stated above: That's the jest of everything. Learn it, understand it, keep on truckin'. Isn't that right rottenseed?

Right now where I work we have Thierry, a retired Cop and Dennis, a private detective as part our staff. Thierry receives his pension from the state and is set for life, but he still comes to work all the way from Upstate NY Just because he wants to stay sharp, dealing with the muscleheads, blacks and a swarm of riley young Russians at night time.

The private detective is just doing this for fun when the work flow is slow. Because he likes to observe people and guess the type of personality derived from first impression and body language.

And these guys tell me tell me this:

All you gotta do is cooperate with the cop. Don't act like a tough man and give them an attitude. What are you, Many of you feel uneasy and feel you're 'submitting' to the cop. What's so big about that? It's your damn man-ego that's causing all the friction. You see all those gangsters and criminals in TV shows giving cops an attitude? Like wild dogs they are, growling, snarling, pissing on the floor to mark their territory. You're no better than these simpletons.

Just be calm and cooperate with the authority that has approached you. They're not here to purposely annoy you and take away your time. The more people they interrogate means more office work for them as well. They want as little to no trouble as you would want. So if you haven't done anything wrong, just calm the fuck down, cooperate with the authority, and you should be fine.

Cops are needed. I know that. But you don't have to be fucking assholes all of the time to get the job done. That's where you fail.

There are good cops. I know that.

But there are fucking pricks in there who keep having excuses made for them, and that's not doing any of us any good.

I've been stopped and interrogated for doing nothing more menacing than taking a shortcut down an alley on my way home from the pub.

One time in Denver, two cops stopped me and wanted to take me "down town" for a few hours, or a few days, because I was walking home near a place that was robbed. No other reason. No other evidence.

You know, you guys have just acted like assholes so many times that I'm as leery of you as I am of the hoods. And as often as not, you're worthless as hell. You get to the scene an hour after the fact. You file a report that will never be followed up on. You have this "Well what do you expect me to do about it?" attitude.

And I'm pretty mad at you for jumping to the defense of that cop in the video that you referenced.

A lot of you are pretty lazy and not very bright, and bullies at heart.

[edit]
Just an FYI, my brother wears a badge. I think he's probably really good at what he does, but I don't even know him any more. He's said and done things, grossly insensitive things, that really make it hard for me to be around him.

Dropping in on a skateboard ramp is against the law

Payback says...

Little twits got caught breaking the rules and should have left it at that. Stopped watching after 2 minutes because they started whatever came after.

If you were allowed to be on the wall, there'd be at least a ladder there. I mean holy crap, the city has a free skate park for them. A DECENT one, not a glorified basketball court, and they have to push it.

Besides, standing up for yourself when you're that age is stupid, shine the cop on, apologize to Andy Griffith there, and hell, you might have been back on the ramps tomorrow, but NOOOOOO, had to stand up to the Man... *shakes head*

***He should sue for being trespassed by the cop though. Can't go around trespassing people, even if you have a badge. OMFG learn English.

Ron Howard's Call to Action

13439 says...

That's a pretty effective ad because it directly targets the 40-ish (Happy Days) to 60-ish (Andy Griffith show) demographics -generally more Republican than Democrat in their leanings - in a language and method that they can relate to.

Of course, it being on the internet, the challenge is reaching the target audience.

Upvote from me both for the video and the way in which they were trying to get the message across.
