My wife’s family has multiple homes in Ft Meyers. The last we heard there was about 5 ft of water in their ground floors….some are single story homes.
Officer Facing $20 Million Lawsuit for Excessive Force

Every single story described somebody fleeing or resisting. I have no sympathy for them.
The officer in this case realised that the kids had 'mental disabilities', still no sympathy? I agree that if you're dealing with an officer, being respectful is the most sensible way of not turning the situation into a clustercuss, but I hope officers can use their discretion, especially when dealing with vulnerable individuals. And most of them do actually. I've had lots of dealings with the police over the years, and they've all been pretty cool.

A human being died for running away. A HUMAN BEING DIED FOR RUNNING AWAY!
Wrong! A human being died for being stupid! Happens every damn day. He resisted arrest, fled the scene, then FOUGHT with an armed police officer!
I'm not saying he deserved to die. But when you're an idiot, and you fuck with somebody who's got a gun, then don't be surprised if that's the end for you.
You obey the officer. If you are wrongfully arrested, you file a complaint and sue later. Or you can risk a painful death. Choice is yours.
I got no sympathy for him.

RT: NYT dumps WikiLeaks after cashing in on nobel cause
So, Does RT do a single story on Russia? They are called Russian Times, but I have never seen them do any story on their own country. It all seems to be crap about the U.S.. Did they not just have a bombing in an airport there? Hows that Chechnya war going? How has Pooty been doing? Hows his little puppet Dmitry Medvedev working out? Have they Let the Chechnya Group that planned the bombing out yet so they can be captured or killed later with "embedded news people following along."?
"Russian Times, we don't know what the hell is going on in our own country, but we know a bunch of wrong things going on in the U.S."

16 yr old has ridiculously simple idea, makes $$$

That all being said it would suck if someone went stair-steadying down the stairs before you.
I'm living back at my parents place right now because my mother has limited mobility and my father can't take care of her on his own. Usually in a house if you have a person with limited mobility, it's just one. Not two, if you have two people they generally move somewhere else like a single story dwelling with easier access to everything.
Personally for someone like her, with a few stairs in the house this is brilliant. I doubt she'd be able to get up stairs, they're just too steep. But it'd make it easier in some other places around here, and they can't afford to sell this place right now.
ESPN Greatest Moments in History
Incredible. Was expecting so much less, a normal transition to a single story or discipline, but no.....Superb post,.. and from a fan of sports who was clueless to most of the references.
