Cops using unexpected level of force to arrest girl
Mirror mirror upon the wall, who's the delusionist among us all. (with Carly Simon singing in the background)
Britains Got Talent - Opera from Charlotte and Jonathan!
After seeing this again on someone's facebook page I wondered the same thing. They finished second to a dance group (blah) and subsequently signed a million pound contract with Simon Cowell. They have released 2 albums and are still together.
Did they win?
Amazing Voice Impressions - Jake Foushee
Same goes for statham and batman. I hate to be the Simon Cowell of this version of america's got talent, but he really did not get the subtle characteristics of any of them. Not bad, worth watching, probably has a career in voice work, but not in mimicry.
He definitely has the voice, but his Morgan Freeman needs work.
Cosplay Highlights from MCM London Comic Con 2013
Ok, I get comic book characters, video game characters, obscure anime/manga, but the two that dressed up as that abortion masquerading as cinema known as the lone ranger should be taken out and beaten with sticks.
OTOH, the two guys that dressed up as Nick Frost and Simon Pegg from the Worlds End? They win that show.
Solomon Grey - Gen V
Between guys like this, and Simon Posford's last two Younger Brother albums, they've really rejuvinated my interest in electronica. Just the right amount of pop-appeal and sexy synth.
@Deeno, if you dig this guy, check out Younger Brother's album "Vaccine". Truly extraordinary.
Tim Minchin - White Wine in the Sun (2012)
Love this. The music sounds like something Paul Simon would write.
Siskel and Ebert defend Star Wars
Interesting. I dislike Star Wars quite a bit but I still disagree with everything Simon said.
I've always found some of the core elements of Star Wars to be very intriguing, but the execution to be absolutely terrible. All the corniness always yanks me out of the story.

Siskel and Ebert defend Star Wars
I can't say I agree with Simon, but I certainly don't agrfee with Ebert, Siskel, or (sorry) bluecliff. Star Wars was pretty crappy when it first came out, in every way but special effects, and none of the subsequent episodes got any better. A trite, cliched story combined with wooden acting and moronic, stilted dialog don't make for a good time, in my opinion.
The shameless flipflopping and revisionist history Lucas presented over the years since then pretty well sealed my distaste. First, it had nothing to do with Campbell's Hero's Journey (my guess is that he had no idea who Campbell was at that time), then later, when Campbell became such a fad, well of -course- it was inspired by the Hero's Journey all along. Even Hollywood types should be able to provide a better fake sincerity than Lucas.

And, other than this brief moment, no one appears to have thought about Mr. Simon at the time or since. Which appears, except for this internet clip reburial, to be entirely appropriate.

Siskel and Ebert defend Star Wars
I hope John Simon has sought the intensive psychological counseling that he so clearly needs. Leading such a joyless life must be really truly awful.
Sabine Schmitz vs Ron Simons round 2 - Spa-Francorchamps
Bad luck on the traffic for Simons, though I do think Sabine is a slightly better driver.
Peter Dinklage in Simon Says on Sesame Street
As a Simon, I endorse this message.
Sabine Schmitz Porsche vs Ron Simons Ferrari Nordschleife
Oh, I know who she is. BBC top gear has done a couple of shows with her in it.
I did not know who Ron Simons was.
Here is another race of theirs in BAC mono's.

Perhaps I should've put this in the description... but Sabine Schmitz is (was?) a professional racing driver who has won the 24 hours Nürburgring endurance race twice (1996, 1997) and has completed more than 20,000 laps of the Norschleife (increasing at 1200 per year) in her occupation as "the fastest taxi driver in the world" (providing hot laps around the Norschleife). She also has a career as a tv presenter.
Ron Simons was also a racer in the 90s - http://www.gtspirit.com/2011/05/18/interview-ron-simons-rsr-nurburg-the-nurburgring/

She's beyond good and she kicked his ass! Great video.
