A cop not being a dick one time doesn't make him a good cop. A cop going on a speaking tour getting applauded over a minor example of humanitarianism pretty much erases the humanitarian part and it becomes a pure self serving PR ploy.

How many criminal cops has he turned in and testified against? That's the test, daily vigilance against his buddies abusing their power, not singular instances of charity he then milks for public relations points.

If the Russians interfered, clearly in favor of Trump, it's impossible that Trump won fair and square. Jebus fucking Christ. Trump won fair and square by cheating the system with illegal help from our enemies.

Carter still has more intelligence, honesty, and civility in his little toe nail than Trump's entire nepotistic family. He's also in better physical shape, Trump would die trying to do 1/4 the work Carter does daily. You forget, he was a nuclear submarine commander/designer. They started investigating and found interference for one candidate's benifit, granted they should have made it as public as the Clinton investigation that found nothing but Comey refused to mention it, since they found massive interference on behalf of Trump, Obama sanctioned Russia. Trump calls that investigation a witch hunt and illegally told Russia he would remove the sanctions day one (violating the Logan act, his messenger was convicted of that)....and has now publicly invited Russia to help him again, offering them a presidential shield from investigation or repercussions.

Trump lost the election by over 3million votes, but barely won the electoral college with foreign help he begged for during the campaign repeatedly, and has requested again.

Trump, and by extension you, are bitter "winners"....bitter because your win is illegitimate, and you know it.

I wasn't a Christian until I'm in my 30's. But throughout my 20's, I occasionally get asked if I'm a Christian whenever I was just being nice/helping people. So after a dozen times getting asked that, I went to a church event from a Christian friend and got involved. I only wanted to get baptized after I read the whole Bible cover-to-cover.

I really don't get attached to the church much, although I do go every Sunday & have fellowship 3, 4 times a month. Not getting attached in the sense that knowing church is like any organization with lots of people - it's natural their hearts & minds tends to go to the daily running of the church (Getting more people into church, donations vs expenses, etc.) and communal/social side of things more than the spiritual-growth side.

I'm more of a "Jesus Follower" type of Christian I guess? not impressed with organized religion, but I just agree and put myself into practicing what Jesus preach to people, his simple commandments: Love God & my neighbors. Looking at Jesus as a humanitarian philosopher perspective, I can't believe He doesn't want us to make this Earth a better place. He's all about understanding, accepting and instill love & respect into everyone...

It's crazy to see people using and twisting religion to turn this world into - pardon my French - merde... how is this what Jesus wants? There are way too many people who just want the benefit (getting into heaven? bragging right? think Christianity is superior than others?) without the effort... these we call the "free-gift (read: cheap-fakes) gospel" that really have zero value and zero contribution to the betterment of the world.

You said it right. Jesus placed the world on his shoulder, if I call myself a Christian and I don't carry the cross as He does... I'm just lying to myself and to the world.
