BIG NEWS: Mixing different resolutions in one scene ruins the illusion of a "8-bit"-themed video and is a pretty lazy way of going about things. These guys probably wanted to cash in on "flairs" (the raping trucker)-thing.


The Flairs video isn't the first to do this sort of absurd 8-bit music video thing, but yeah, this wasn't done super-well. Kinda slow too; the visuals aren't as frantic as the music or situation.

Fun stuff though.

That's either a very heavily modified GTR or the dude in the Veyron is just taking it easy. Off the line, maybe the GTR launch control (although the Veyron has its own) and lower weight might give it a little advantage, but once they are over 100mph, 1000 hp will stomp on 480 hp. There would just be no contest.

Even so, 200 hp is a pretty big deficit from a running start as in the second clip. I'm still skeptical.

Man, this used to play on KTLA (RIP) every few months when I was growing up in 70's Los Angeles. This, the original Star Trek series and Godzilla movies. To quote that beer commercial, it doesn't get any better.
