Police Chase Scene on Shrek 2
I like Bronco chase and catnip drug.
I like the use of the pepper mill as pepper spray
The Ford Bronco - 10 Key Features (off road)
At 15 mpg, you won’t get anywhere near the middle of nowhere.
Pretty sad that my 51 year old V8 Bronco gets the same mileage.
Great, now I need to move to the top of the mountain in the middle of nowhere just to take full use of this very cool car.
Impressive
Road rage driver throws axe at windshield
I'll never understand why, when someone cuts off another driver like this and gets out of their car to threaten or attack the other driver, why doesn't the person being attacked just run the attacker down in self defense? I would have parked on top of this guy or pinned him against his door with my bumper and waited for the police.
You know how much damage my Bronco would suffer if I just let it roll over him? None at all.
Car makers sue to UNDO Right to Repair in Massachusetts
This is why I love my 50 year old Bronco and Jeep. None of this crap applies.
Of course I don't really have secure locking doors or electric locks or windows either, but that's fine where I live.
Which is The Most Dangerous Car? Problems with NHTSA ratings
Maybe for average cars, but that's not true when it comes to old Broncos or Jeeps. In the early 70's, they built them like tanks (heavy and slow), especially with the roll bar option properly installed, Broncos even had a thick full tube frame, not just a C channel, not unibody, and definitely no plastic.
Granted, the safety systems were lap belts and nothing more and the steering column would spear through your chest in a head on crash while the bare metal dash cracks your passenger's head, even stock they tend to roll, the fuel economy is non existent, and top speed is well under 2/3 what modern cars can produce (good thing since the brakes are sub par), but the cars themselves are nearly indestructible (I have one of each). I've dropped my jeep frame 3+ ft onto solid rock, it chipped the rock (and maybe my spine). ;-)
Late 70's early 80's that all changed, mostly for the worst.
A good way to get a feel for the difference between modern and older cars is to play BeamNG. Crash an old car at speed in that and it will get destroyed while a modern car will hold together.

You would love my jeep and bronco then, both early 70's v8s, with no catalytic converters.
Mad props to anything that can pollute more than my Mustang.
Girl in Parking Spot
So sad he gave up. That only encourages this behavior.
Not a problem for me, people move when my rusty 48 year old Bronco comes at them, every time.
Range Rover Evoque Stunt – Speed Bump
Ridiculous. At that 45 degree angle, any of those street cars could have gotten over it just as easily. I've driven over much worse in a civic.
My jeep or bronco could do it straight on, or at that same angle without ever lifting a wheel. Imo, this was just dumb to anyone that drives off-road and just showed what pure on road cars range rovers are.
2009 Chevy Malibu vs 1959 Bel Air Crash Test
Well, my old car is a 1970 Bronco, and it's really heavy and solid (full box tube frame and full roll cage), and it's lifted so it will ride over most small cars.
Now, in a head on with another lifted truck, I'm toast. I don't even have a slip joint in my steering shaft or a 3 point seat belt, so I'll probably be impaled through the chest.
I'll still swear my old car is safer in an average mid speed crash with a car, but I can admit it's more dangerous in many, many other ways.
I know many people that always swear their old cars are safer in a crash because they're heavy and "solid". "The other car is my crumple zone."... I'll have to share this video to them.
Biker cut off but lands safely... ish
I saw him do nothing that 90%+ great, "safe" riders wouldn't do.
Safe...riding isn't safe. Drivers are idiots that don't think or look out.
He may often ride like a crazed moron...just not this time imo.
80 in a clear lane is normal, but also admittedly illegal. That said, who would expect that moron to cut between cars, across two lanes at once, to cross a double yellow without looking or coming close to matching the lane speed? Not me. I would have monster trucked him in my Bronco and suffered no damage myself. ;-)
None of that negates what I said about driving safely.
In a legal and technical sense, the car that pulled into the carpool lane is indeed in the wrong.
That doesn't mean Mr. Motorcycle here was driving safely.
See this *related video. Notice the difference in how each driver operated their motorcycle.
Tech driven Grand Theft Auto
It doesn't work so well on my 1970 bronco.

At least I have the Broncos.
The Enforcer
Had anyone wrecked, he certainly would be liable, and the video would be perfect evidence that it 1)wasn't an accident and 2)called for massive punitive damages.
If he really thought it was his place to stop them (and it's not), why didn't he just drive 1/2 in each lane instead of trying to cause an accident?
I kept hoping someone would merge into his lane, blocking him from swerving back.
He would not try this in front of me. That's the benefit of driving a lifted 46 year old Bronco with a home made brush guard/bumper and rust holes in every panel, no one assumes I won't just crash into them....it clearly wouldn't hurt my car's value. ;-)
