I think it could be neat. Not sure I'd use it myself, I tend to just sit on the sift a lot anyway.

One thing, email replies to people should definitely quote them though when it posts to the page, to keep everything in context.

I'd rather see the time spent fixing quoting.

Could you also make it possible to select whether you want to receive email notifications about profile page comments and quotes? It's a nice feature if you want it, but can also result in some unnecesary email spam.

The only real advantage I see to this is allowing people to reply for a smartphone (without having to waddle through the desktop web layout), I'd prefer you improved the mobile version of the site instead.

Allowing people to reply through email would encourage them to disregard everything but the post they're replying to which hardly fosters good debate amongst a wider community.

It would be nice if we could include custom thumbnails in our sifts when submitting them, instead of having to go back and modify the sift in order to add a custom thumb for our own sifts. Much rather see that than the email reply feat.

Yep, this is top of my wishlist too. I do a custom thumb for nearly every submission now, and it'd be awesome to be able to submit it in the original submission form.>> ^campionidelmondo:

Also, the site doesn't view properly in full screen mode on my 3GS. Borders for the sidebar are out of bounds and I can't zoom out far enough to access the sidebar in my member profile. Didn't use to be a problem until like a month ago.
