Hi Lisacat thank you very much for telling me, and for giving me a working link, you did not have to. Much appreciated. sigh I really need to come back to VS I miss it and have not had the chance to use all these new sweet features...anyway, have a good day

Hi mauz15-
I went to watch one of your posts (http://www.videosift.com/video/The-Monk-and-the-Fish--by-Michael-Dudok-De-Wit) and found it dead. Here is a working version if you get a chance and want to fix it. It's a wonderful film, there's another by the same artist in the Arts Collective right now linking to it.

Lovin' Spoonful!
thanks for introducing me to the ditty bops. their wishful thinking video is great. thanks for posting it.
Yeah I actually kinda like the intro, but I was afraid some of the ADD people would stop watching if they didn't see the sword fight after 20 seconds. I wonder where they found a bamboo forest to shoot in?
In reply to your comment:
I love bamboo, and the beginning was my favorite part!
Hi lisacat. Just wanted to drop you a note of appreciation. Ever since you first joined, I've been impressed with your finds, and your dilligence in sifting. You're an asset to the community, and I'm sure you'll have a gold star in no time.
Great Citizen Welles playlist. I'm quite proud that I got one of my videos on there.
There's nothing unclean about sift-self-love, everyone gets to upvote their own videos - the only (main) reasons you wouldn't upvote (right away), which I've noticed, are:
1. you don't actually like the video but you're sifting it up to prove some perverted point (to see how fast people will downvote it to death)
2. you think your video is so popular it'll get 9 votes without your help and you want to have the pleasure of giving it its 10th vote to make it published.
In reply to your comment:
Thanks for the welcome Krupo! I thought I had seen that someone had voted on their own, but wasn't sure. Thought it might be a gold-star thingy. Off to do some voting and why do I suddenly want to brush my teeth?
In reply to your comment:
“Hey, welcome to the sift - just a heads-up, you're welcome (and encouraged) to vote on your own submissions! ”
