A little about me...
I am a creature of the Canadian Arctic with a tendency to wander. My curious nature has taken me far and wide and I have seen many things in my meanderings - From the moai of Easter Island to the vast steppes of Mongolia. I have esoteric interests and tastes and am curious about most things about the universe and the world in which we live. I am Inuit and am passionate about Arctic Indigenous peoples issues. Because of my unique upbringing and my experiences on the road, I feel as Hunter S. Thompson once put it: "one of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die."

No all I know of our friends to the North is Montréal. I'm looking forward to seeing the country off the port side for a couple of weeks. I'm fascinated by the further reaches of the continents. Probably picked some of that fascination up from you.

I'm battling a nasty cold at the moment, but otherwise I'm doing great. I head back to the great white north in April which is fast approaching! I'm definitely going to miss Denmark, but I know I'll be back eventually. I'm already bracing myself for the inevitable culture shock I'm going to go through when I return.

Nova Scotia, huh? Sounds like it'll be a great trip. You been before? The maritimes are beautiful in the summer. I went to Lunenburg a few years back and had a fantastic time. Halifax is a great city too - had lots of fun there.

Good, good! And yourself? When are you coming back to North America, Jesse? I'm sailing from Connecticut up to Nova Scotia in June, I can't wait.

Here's what I've added to Netflix...

101 Reykjavik
The Story of the Weeping Camel
The Day After Trinity
Encounters at the End of the World
Cranes Are Flying

I was going to do War and Peace but I don't think I have the eight hours to spare.

Thanks again.

Thanks, Jesse, it's been good so far. It's been a mix of arduous toil and reckless creative and amorous pursuit. I've reestablished NefFlix's faith in my finances and am padding out my queue with JesseoftheNorth fare. So far I've added 101 Reykjavik but need to go back and find some of the others you've posted. Thanks for the tips!

How's the Scandinavian New Year treating you?
