You mean the Arizona thing that is being shot into the ground? Also, you mean the two countries that have very limited civil rights? This is the US, not those two countries. He doesnt live in those environments. He isnt brave at all. To me, he was more concerned about what people thought of him. To me, thats being vain.

Um, have you been reading the news lately? Arizona wants businesses to have the ability to discriminate. Uganda wants to imprison gay and gay friendly people for decades. In Russia gay people are kidnapped, tortured, beat in the streets.

He's still brave, my friend, when this is the environment he in which he lives.
