How about instead of ruining everything, Adam gets off his ass and starts offering some solutions. All his show is doing is leaving me depressed and angry, with no direction to aim my frustration...

In the civilised world, "doing taxes" is one of those weird things you are aware of because of American TV.

In my entire working life, my interaction with tax amounts to looking at my payslip whenever my salary changes and ... that's it.

My tax comes off my pay automatically, I pay a flat Goods and Services Tax of 15% on everything I buy, and there are various other duties, levies, etc., all of which are pre-calculated and included in the listed price.

There are a few "tax refund" companies around that will try and recoup a tax gain, but most of the time it amounts to so little money it's not worth it.

Hmmmm....so, these same lobbyists that have convinced congress to keep it confusing for so long will do the same to halt Trump's tax reform, right? A flat tax would put them out of business instantly.
Won't Trump be surprised to find that tax reform is also complicated...more complicated than anyone knew (anyone except for the people who actually have a clue).

This one was all about a ready made and proven solution, it's return-free filing.

We just need to spread the word about what people are missing out on, and try to convince congress that the good will this could generate among constituents is more valuable than the bribes the tax prep industry can offer.
