As to the question of hierarchy between politics and decorum, while you present a wonderful field for discourse objectively, in this case there is a backstory that is not obvious and is related more to decorum and poor politics is a bit player of no real import.

Yeah, she is an idiot. I found this hysterical, what with the prom dress, overabundance of eyeshadow and an iq that seems to be dropping by the second. I tried to sift it but it was avoided like the plague. You might be able to sell it better than me, assuming you find humor in it in the first place.

The film puts a human face on the suffering and illustrates some of the newer and more insidious oil industry tactics. It's also a well made film.
