It's there now and was shortly after Dag posted, but I've got no channels or anything else filtered and never have. Can't tell you what changed but I'm sure it wasn't when I looked, I looked more than once and at both pages to be sure, and refreshed. I can see how I might have missed it in the middle of a list but not at the top of the page.

Doesn't matter anyway, it's the least of your problems right now I'm sure and if it's there now it's not one to me either. Thanks for checking on it.

It's possible you have one of the channels it's in filtered. That could make it disappear from just your view. It's in the religion and lies channels atm.

Thank you, I believe you just made my day. For what it's worth people like you and mauz15 are a good part of why I still come back here for regular visits, even if I don't post a lot. I do miss Fedquip and Rembar, they were prolific and often amusing, but there's a lot of quality left in this place still. More than I give it credit for sometimes, I'm just a humorless SOB now and then It's no better to take life too serious than it is too lightly and that's a balance I'm still working on I guess. I honestly do admire people like you that can manage a good effort at both.

Thanks. Oddly enough it wasn't something I really wanted, and I'm not looking forward to earning gold anytime soon. I'm a social misfit and the parties they throw over those things would just make me uncomfortable I'm sure, that's part of why I never went after rank here. I wouldn't know how to respond.

Ran into a couple of kids recently who had their heads filled with garbage by some young earth group and figured I had to make a gesture at least to fight the disinformation. The urge will probably pass soon enough

I don't have time to get caught up here and properly support it in the thread for one thing, and for another even if I was here regular at the moment I might pass it along since it's more in your area than mine. Drug war, streets, gangs, and stuff like that I do as well as some generic "it looked cool" things but what I think others can get more out of they are welcome to, especially if it's a subject that matters. Not the first vid I've offered someone.

Just passing by and thought it was something you'd want.

I did a quick search here and didn't see the name mentioned, this seemed a subject you'd be interested in and the guy could use us watching out for him. Wael Abbas is a blogger from Egypt who has at great personal risk posted torture videos to expose police brutality among other things, his work has lead to some changes including the rare prosecution of some cops for raping a prisoner with a foreign object.

He used Youtube to post his vids and some jerks it seemed complained so his channel was suspended and his vids deleted. Channel has been restored now and is at http://www.youtube.com/profile_videos?user=waelabbas but the vids as of now are still gone.

Google search for Wael Abbas and Youtube should get more info on the subject and the following vid about his work could be a good opening to get some here to notice him, or maybe you could find something better. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zfWCX__kQ3k

In any case he does important work and could use us watching out for him to prevent this from happening again, figured you might be interested. Later.

The link I sent you was to a full version of it on Google Video, I watched the end of it there. It's a good post and that's the complete version if you wanted it. I just used tinyurl because it would have caused a long line to post the full link, didn't know if that would screw up a message here. Does in some places and it didn't seem the time to test it.
