With every word I think a little less of you. Keep talking. Kisses.

Well I don't want to come off like a "cynical chicken little" but it sounds as though you're implying I'm not a productive member of society.

In spite of being laid off and not receiving a salary this year; I'm substitute teaching in three different school corporations, I volunteer at a local animal shelter (ARF, Animal Rescue Fund), and I tutor non-traditional students to help them get their GEDs. I don't get compensated the same way that my friend who sells "Accidental Death and Dismemberment" insurance does but meh.

Then again, you could be just continuing your thinly veiled narcissistic nazi troll tantrum.

Either way, I'll be enjoying watching the depths of your hypocrisy continue to blossom as you tout personal freedom and live a life of complacency regarding the powers that be.

Now go pay for your marriage license whore.

I don't know you're the educated one, you figure it out.

EDD, I am teasing you. And you failed to shame me out of being a dick. Again.
In reply to this comment by EDD:
Well, what I had written previously was rather dumb, something I only realized in retrospect following @<a rel="nofollow" href="http://videosift.com/member/Payback" title="member since July 22nd, 2006" class="profilelink">Payback's comment and I wanted to acknowledge that - so I quoted a line from a movie I liked which was delivered by a complete moron of a character. I'll admit I did have qualms about swearing in the comments of a video of Bill Nye, just because I have tremendous amounts of respect for the Science Guy, but otherwise, it was just my way of over-the-top self-deprecating humor. For what it's worth though I'm honestly sorry and saddened if it made you of all people feel uncomfortable :

Bit sad at this video... Bill is looking a bit old.

That's strange, I was looking at him, thinking that he looks exceptionally well for his age.. which is apparently 55, so he's actually younger than I thought

Umm... if he's YOUNGER than you thought, then he's not looking all that great for his age.

you talk like a fag and your shit's all retarded.

Yeah, I noticed that when I was self-employed (read that as being a freelancer), my taxes went way up. I now owe back taxes. It becomes difficult to remain solvent. It's like the high taxes are there to discourage people from competing with the larger companies, and I've almost caved multiple times and gone back to working for corporations. I shudder to think.

And then there's the problem of where your money is spent. It's not locally generally. A lot of it goes to wars and death. I'd much rather spend locally and help those I have a chance of encountering daily.

In reply to this comment by peggedbea:
being self-employed may or may not be turning me into a libertarian. i feel like i'd rather take 20% of my income and just hand it over directly to my elderly neighbors than send it to the pilfering sociopaths in washington. ... i'm currently researching the best ways to commit tax evasion.
