Bald Faced Hornets Attack Camera - (Nest Removal Fail)
You know, poison works really well. Throwing things at the nest--not so much. Best case scenario: now the nest is on the ground, the wasps are still alive, and now they're all angry. It doesn't take a whole lot of forethought to suss that scenario.
Wasp Vs. Spider Deathmatch!
Wasp absolutely tattooed Mr. Spider. Upvote!
Wasp Vs. Spider Deathmatch!
It's a species of huntsman spider, wich are pretty harmless things, and a specialist spider hunting wasp. The spider never stood a chance.
It's not dead at the end, but merely paralysed. It will be buried in a small burrow dug by the wasp and sut in with the eggs of the wasp laid on it's body. When the eggs hatch they'll have a nice fresh meal of spider to get them going. It will be eaten alive in the burrow.
The wasp doesn't kill the spider because although paralysed it's bodys defenses will still repel infection, meaning it'll stay fresher longer.
Nice.

Amazes me how some people can get the two confused. Chinese is very staccato, short words said very fast and harshly. It always reminds me of Russian. Japanese is a flowing sort of language it has some very long words said in a almost rhythmic tone. But good rule of thumb, if you just heard 5 words in a row under 4 letters long it's probably Chinese or Korean.

Thats a Chinese news station and the chinese army.
it's pretty ridiculous to not be able to tell mandarin from japanese, imo. unless you've don't watch any chinese or japanese movies. but that's also ridiculous. so it's still ridiculous.

Guy Removes Swarming Bees on Vehicle with his Hands!!
>> ^robbersdog49:
A swarm of bees occurs when they move from an old hive to a new hive. They will settle like this while scouts go looking for a suitable hive location. When they're like this they have nothing to defend. They have no honey and no lavae to look after, so they have no reason to attack anything unnecessarily. So, if you're slow and calm and don't give them a reason to hurt you, they won't. This guy is providing them with what they want - a new hive - and just encouraging them. Once he gets the queen in there the rest will follow. The sugar water just makes them a bit happier and therefore less likely to attack.
When bees sting, they leave the sting behind and this kills them. It's a real last resort. I do a lot of insect photography and it doesn't bother me at all to pick up a bee. Wasps need a little more respect as it doesn't injure them to sting, so they can be a little more trigger happy.
I read that the sting when applied to the enemy acts as marker for other bees, thus it is very likely that he wasn't stung once while moving this hive. This is absolutely amazing. Nice comment robbersdog!
