Agreed. If you're going through all the effort of making a World-Maker, then one might assume, in this time of facade-as-king, that effort was expended on making it look a little less like ass? Apparently not.

Voxels are great for terrain modeling.

Outcast, Delta Force and Delta Force 2 used it, it looked incredible.

I downloaded this a little while back... terrible.

Bad clipping, horrendous graphics, labourious stabbing at things to get through them... just overall tripe.

And really, for what? It's processor intensive and ugly as sin, when really, it's just a crap attempt at Digital Molecular Matter and other such technologies, with about 1% of the functionality of said techs.

It just seems like the wrong path completely to be going down in terms of programming these days, many have tried the ol' voxel route and nothing much good has come out of it.

I downloaded this. Yeah I think some of the player characters only die on one layer of voxels.
