why isn't there a USS Enterprise that looks like this?

To me, it's like having a float of a burning sinking USS Arizona at a Pearl Harbor anniversary event, or worse.
I do see a distinction, especially since those lost in NY on 9/11 didn't heroically go down fighting the enemy. There's little to celebrate about the image.

Not really surprising...it continues to get worse...The illegitimate Demander in Cheat attempted to deny this despite proof it happened due to written Whitehouse demand, denying any responsibility by first claiming it didn't happen at all and the ship name was only hidden due to routine maintenance not orders from the Whitehouse, then claiming it was a single staffer that with good intentions demanded McCain's name be hidden (but there's certainly not a reprimand in that subordinate's future) and he claims sailors from the USS McCain and another ship were really just on leave, not excluded from his speech....but multiple sailors from the McCain have said they showed up despite the entire ship being singled out/ being uninvited, and they alone were denied entry, fact contradicting the president once again.

Sweet zombie Jebus, Putin would be a better, less divisive American president....who wouldn't?

I'd say it isn't overly depressing. It's not San Junipero level happy, not even Hang the DJ. Perhaps somewhere around USS Callister and Nosedive. It's not overly depressing.

There are certainly sadder endings than others. I've watched/played it twice and basically hit 4 or all 5 endings. though I'd say there are only 3 or so "real" endings. As one can perhaps tell by the trailer, he's making a game called Bandersnatch, and there are 3 reviews of the game, which is what I'd call the real endings. The other hard endings, generally let you reset, and go back to one, or even two, key moments to reset the story lines. In those two viewings I don't recall the Jerome F Davies laughing scene that is seen in the trailer.

There are a few cool points. Like you pick which cereal you want in the morning, it'll be noted later in the show. Your music choice will effect a line later. There are some Black Mirror Easter Eggs as one would expect.

It's not the best Black Mirror episode, San Junipero is impossible to beat I'd think. but it is far from the worst. It's in the upper half, perhaps upper 3rd or even quarter.

Friendly fire is a fact of war, Canadians on a training mission in Afghanistan where killed by USAF runs despite their training operation and location being registered with the airforce. Fatal screw ups happen in war so it seems much less of a stretch to call this an accident than a deliberate scheme against an ally.

You go ahead and believe some video referring to the 'mockingbird media' and using literally 4-5 words of audio and leaving out all other communications though, I'm sure they left it out for brevity and not because it contradicts their narrative. That's something only the mockingbird media would do...

I get there is plenty of room to criticise Israeli actions and call them too aggressive. This is just not such an example, in any way, shape or form.

As vil said, this happened when Israel was actively at war. Nasser had blocked Israeli shipping and moved Egpytian forces onto the border. Israel then made a pre-emptive strike wiping out the Egyptian air-force, and then launching a ground offensive. The USS Liberty was running as an unmarked ship in the wrong place at the wrong time and Israel hit it too.

Israel knew it was a US military vessel or they didn't. If they didn't, it's highly possible they decided the unmarked military vessel was a threat and hit it. If they did, they decided it was a good idea to hit an American owned military vessel while starting/engaging a war with Egypt.

I can't reason out any situation where Israel thinks it's a good idea to deliberately kill and engage the US here, it's all bad for them. The most reasonable explanation is they attacked an unmarked military vessel in a war zone because they knew it wasn't their own.

In top 3 or 5 for USS Callister? I enjoyed it because I'm a Trek(ie/ker).

The USS Callister episode was pretty good, and I'd put it in the top 3 or top 5. Obviously, San Junipero is the best episode, and one of the best hours of TV, but Callister was up there.
