Russians Must Hate Snow Plows

CreamK says...

Good point, in either case he was a retard... A good snowplough driver will let you know if it safe by showing the right turn signal or by pulling over. Then again that might've not been a good snowplough driver so you'll get ahole+ahole=carnage.

I don't think he was just driving in the middle of the road, I think he was in the process of passing the plow. Kind of like passing with your eyes closed.

Canadian-News-Anchors-Warning-To-Americans

For the record, FOX is shit, as is all corporate news-To me, all talking heads are the same-The profession, the process of reporting information is corrupted beyond repair for many reasons, the least of which being the inability of the bulk of humanity to think critically and to gather and decipher information to reach proper conclusions.

Left and right are directions on a motherfucking turn signal to me.

Live and Let Drive - retraces C'etait un Rendezvous

zebishop jokingly says...

This video is a fake (not lelouch's, this one). You see countless cars changing lanes with their turn signal on. I've been living in Paris for 12 years now, and NOBODY uses it. EVER. Or when it's on, it's been on for 10 minutes at least and the driver is not gonna change lane at all. Also you don't see any scooter or motorcycle slaloming between cars. Fake to the bones.

Most of my have to do with driving, some already mentioned, but also: people who don't use turn signals (especially the ones who just slam on their brakes, then turn left or right, no indication where they want to go).

People who cut you off, then want to turn LEFT the next intersection on a busy no-turn-lane road so you sit behind them for 5 minutes.

People who refuse to pull into the intersection when turning left, or even go when there is nobody coming, because there is 'only a green light but the turn arrow turned off already'.

People who start digging for something on a traffic light and never look up to see when the light goes green.

Oh, people on supermarkets/grocery stores who park their cart in the middle of the aisle, then browse something next to their cart and never mind that nobody can get by.

People on (Starbucks or ANY) line (of 5/10/20.. people) who come up and say 'oh, I have no idea what I want, let me think...'

People who wait for the cashier to say how much they owe, THEN dig out their CHECKBOOK and start writing a check. Special treat if they can't find their checkbook. Also, the people who use a credit card, but first can't find it. They they have to try to figure out which way it goes in the reader, then type their PIN wrong 4 times, and after that have to use a different card.

I think I just have no patience..

A van crashes into a row of stopped vehicles on the road

Porksandwich says...

His brake lights never came on, so he was knocked out on the hit or he was out/disabled before the hit took place.

Even after he had come to a stop, the lights on the back never came on that I could tell.

Even someone panicking behind the wheel, you'd think the turn signals, brake lights or something would come on even temporarily in reaction to the hit.

The Cyclist's Revenge

he deserved it

I don't know if he deserved it--but a turn signal would have been nice.

if you look at 0:24 the car did turn on its turn signal, but the biker had already started passing it (and was probably in its blind spot too) as soon as the car driver saw the biker they stopped merging.

"Just Checking To See If My Lights Are Worki...HEY!!!"

xrayiz says...

There's 15 seconds after the dog grabs the phone before the owner reacts. I can't help but visualize the guy sitting in his car trying the turn signals, emergency lights, etc. Now he has to go back and do it all over again. LOL, I wonder if he put the phone on the ground again.

Doctor Refuses to Treat Obama Voters

Porksandwich says...

After reading the link provided above to the Hippocratic Oath, the section where they break down some of the lines seems to indicate that this doctor would be violating the morals of the community and lose his license under it.

Although, in the short term people should view it as a business and as such not spend their time, money, and effort at said business when they don't like how it's being operated or has been operated by the current employees/managers/owners.

In the long term, I think the guy at least deserves a review by the medical board to make sure he is performing his due diligence as a doctor. If he is this easily off put by people, I can only imagine what other imagined slights he thinks his patients have done him and acted in response to.

Personally I think if I were going to put up a sign to prove my displeasure at something, I'd choose a topic where someone else is actively endangering myself and others. Activities such as: Any kind of cell phone use while driving, not using turn signals, being medically/physically unable to safely drive yet still doing so (I see this a lot at the local hospital.....why don't the doctors have the authority to stop this activity via phone call to police?), etc.

Pick any one of the above as a care giver and choose not to treat people who choose to participate in those activities and I'd support you. And I'd argue that you are probably doing less harm by not treating people who participate in activities that kill carloads of people on a daily basis. But political reasons.......are about as petty as they come.
