I think I have a very mild case of Tourettes I often have the urge to hit myself like this guy does but rarely give into it. I also occasionally shake my hands in the air or clinch my teeth hands and eyes and will sometimes even whisper profanities. Its like a burst of energy and you dont feel right until you release it in some way. I can usually control mine to only let it out when no one is looking or even control the method of releasing it.

Just, for those who don't know, the swearing part of this man's Tourette's is actually very rare. Usually Tourette's presents as just ticks or noise, the swearing, while what most people think of as 'Tourette's' is only in rare cases.

It must be an amazingly annoying disorder to have, not being able to properly control yourself.
