Jay Leno still feels like something an Artificial Intelligence would come up with if you'd ask it to simulate a 20th century late night talkshow.

Since Vice City, I've only played the GTA games for the talkshow radio.

I just see a stupid talkshow with stupid people in it..

I can and I have. I didn't realize Gervais was above criticism around here. He's one of my favorite performers, but that doesn't mean I need to be happy and fellate him when he tells a lame joke. When you grow up you'll realize that no one is perfect.


@Yogi - I don't agree that you need to be able to perform in order to criticize. That's absurd.

However, I think @pointykitty is missing the point that he is doing these quite brutal jokes right in the target's face instead of in front of a biased studio audience like Jay Leno. When Leno gets up on stage in front of these people, the jokes are about someone else, or at least toned down.

So no, it wasn't Gervais' best material, but the time and place he said the things he did is at least half the point. He's not making fun of the gorilla from behind the safety of a glass wall, he's there in the cage. That's balls. And a lot of people are conflating that with the word "funny".

I heard a conservative radio talkshow host earlier suggest that mother nature has caused just as much pollution through natural means as this event. The argument amounted to looking outside your window at all that dirt everywhere! It never ceases to amaze me the things people will convince themselves about, all based on which side of the party line they stand.
