LOL. Communism is only in the CCP's name, hardly in practice anymore. As a country, it's arguably a more capitalistic system (there's far less tax bailouts for the rich in China than the Communist Republicans in the USA) with a socialist political agenda (in order for the party to stay in power, mind, but I'm calling a spade a spade). Still, it's less socialist/communist than many Western Europe countries.

There are far too many idiots who don't bother to understand and distinguish the differences between communism, capitalism, socialism, facism, authoritarianism, democracy, freedom, government regulations, checks & balances in the private & public sectors and all the grays, mixes-and-matches in between systems & ideals.... it's sadly all too laughable.

If I have to prophesy on the future, the MAGA crowd will someday need to morph and abandon Trump for all his flaws and failings. And come that day, Trump will either by martyr, or equally likely listed off as just another part of the system. The Clintons at his wedding will be moved from a red herring into a central piece of evidence in their narrative.

And we should be worrying more about who that equally morally vile but less incompetent future figurehead could be.

Now the far right’s war against education expands, with book banning, CRT banning (even though they don’t know what that is), banning any references to gender, blaming teachers for their children being able to think for themselves, for “indoctrination” (into what?), turning them trans, etc…. Just pure insanity one has to go through point by point proving every statement 100% wrong before you assholes admit you’re just exaggerating for effect….then you start all over the next time as if you didn’t just admit you’re liars.

Today, in Tennessee, The Diary of Anne Frank is banned…for containing CRT. Hilariously, so is the Bible (which should already be banned as indoctrination into cults is not supposed to be allowed in public schools). Even the golden rule, “treat others as you would have them treat you” is CRT….imagine, saying you should treat “inner city thugs”, immigrants, and poor people like you think they should treat upstanding white folk….disgusting CRT! 🤦‍♂️

The red states like Florida and Texas that started this war on education already have massive teacher shortages and the teachers left are packing to leave.

Good, then I’m not just being dumb….But you don’t recall at what point it goes from KE= 1/2m V^2 to E= M C^2 …or the equation/function used to determine energy below the speed of light but above the 1/2 threshold?

Somewhere below C (speed of light) it gains up to 1/2 the total system energy, beyond simple kinetic energy…I’ve heard this alluded to as mass becoming energy, but never with any explanation how or even if that’s reality or just a mathematical “trick” to make the equations work…nor an equation describing the process. I only took year one physics….over 25 years ago.

Once again, if he’s re-elected, he promised to change to immediate kangaroo trials without defense portions and immediate executions without appeal for any minor drug charges…like China. Trump wants to turn the US justice system into one just like China. He said that. He has telegraphed that he intends to send out death squads like in the Philippines to skip the kangaroo court part too…the kind that also murders political opposition and their families then plants some drugs to “excuse” the massacres.

Hmmmm….Chump just said in Vegas that we should, and he will, switch to the Chinese justice system where, when police accuse someone of a crime, they have a “quick trial” (without the defense portion) then immediately execute them without appeal.
He also said he will “take over” democratically led cities. Remove their leaders and ability to govern themselves. Basically saying he would outlaw democracy except where his people win.
