In most cases, it's clearly wrong. For examples like this, though, it might help avoid confusion. Duhs is a surname, so "Ph.Duhs" could just as easily be the username of Phillip Duhs as doctoral degrees in stupidity.

Ummm, yeah. That was a given. Its a surname. I don't know of any country / culture that only goes by one name. Especially a modernized country with a population in the MILLIONS. Thats just ridiculous.

Quite the opposite Qruel... nick cage is a HUGE comic book fan, he actually has a Ghost Rider tattoo they had to cover up for the film.

Even his name is from comics... he was born Nicholas Kim Coppola.... nephew to Francis Ford Coppola. He changes his name early in his career. The assumed surname is inspired by Marvel Comics character Luke Cage, a streetwise superhero.

Thylan has been a character/avatar/internet name for me for a long time. It was probably first used in something with a fantasy setting, possible Daggerfall, but has been used lots since. It wasn't intended to be a "known name" and im unaware of having ever come across it before I used it. However, lots of things aren't new to this world, and on discovering the net, I realized it probably is a surname or some such to some people somewhere, as googoling Thylan finds stuff which isn't me. There maybe a Real Thylan out there somewhere pissed off that I keep using their name as my nick when I've no right too
