because i actually agree with you but i suspect it is for different reasons.

when we look at government subsidies (welfare/aid),the largest recipient by far is american corporations.we even subsidize CEO pay,not to mention subsidizing their slave wage work force.

so can you tell me who the TRUE welfare queens are?

and did you just equate our government and its corporate socialism to being "kind,nice and trying to do the right thing"?
and that somehow this government altruism is bad for capitalism?

I was in Thunder Bay (two provinces away) and I heard about it early last week about it. So it's pretty well known in Canada. >> ^jimnms:

This is the first I've heard of this story, so it can't be that viral. I've only heard one side of the story, so I'm not going to even comment on it. What I'd like to know is why do the TYT commentators and people here assume that if he had a gun he would have shot them? The majority of reported incidents of self defense with a gun, the gun is not discharged.

The funny part is: To help promote the Calgary Stampede and encourage tourists to come back, they had people walking around with free parking vouchers for tourists. If they looked like they were out of town, they would ask if they had been to the Stampede and would get free parking for the day.

This year was the 100th anniversary of the Stampede.

In Calgary, It is practically custom to ask visitors if they have been to the Stampede.
The Calgary Stampede, if you haven't been, is one of the biggest Rodeos in the world. It's the event that Calgary is known for.

Everyone from Calgary asks if you have been there because they are proud to boast of it and almost everyone who has been has a great story to tell.
