Solid Snake versus/vs. Sam Fisher

ChaosEngine says...

Eh, this is pretty bad. For a start, Solid Snake doesn't have an eye patch.

But mostly, the direction and fight choreography are awful and the punch line just falls completely flat.

Killing 22 final bosses in 5 minutes

wow, I recognized one person that entire video.. And i'm not even sure i'm right about it, but about halfway through, I believe we catch a glimpse of Agent 47.

None of these are really good final boss fights.. if you want an epic final boss fight, MGS4 is one of the best i've ever seen in terms of how it plays out.

^ is the cutscene before the final fight, Spoilers involved. (The vials they use are basically adrenaline boosters)
and if you've got nothing better to do for 10 mins, the epic fight that follows is below.

the final fight itself plays out Beautifully, unfortunately due to crappy vid. quality, it's hard to make out, but you basically work your way through the games. It breaks down "Old Snake vs Liquid" after the small cutscene with Liquid, it's "Solid Snake vs Liquid Ocelot", after that, the game kicks over into snake eater mode, and it's I believe "Naked Snake" vs "Ocelot". I'd say it's a hell of a sendoff to a 20 year game.

I watched my brother play this game and my biggest gripe was his voice. He's a bike courier. Why does every modern male game lead have to have the stupid gravelly Wolverine/duke/halo voice?

Sounds more "Wannabe Solid Snake" to me. It's a good game, I actually started off hating it. I couldn't stand his voice, the fact that you could climb EVERY building actually got to me, because most of the time you're climbing something that you know wouldn't be there in real life (Generally places don't have exterior pipes), and you can basically make it up anywhere no matter what by spamming X and hoping for the best.

It's a good enough system, but I dislike it, I prefer Assassins creed more. My other gripe is that I got insanely lucky with the first "Mission" of saving the food and it immidiately set me to Hard difficulty and the game then proceeded to kick my ass.

The Reapers have what look to be AK-47's, but have a 99.9% accuracy rating, essentially meaning if you poke your head out to zap someone and there's more then 3 of them there, you're either dead or graying out.

However, with more power unlocks and a tad more understanding of the game it does get more fun, it's just a shame that it took me 3+ hours to reach that point.

WTF is Watchmen

Abel_Prisc says...

lol It's pretty funny. Took me a sec to realize it's not real, but it all clicked when they claimed that guy was David Hayter. But the video gets it's point across, so many people are obsessing over this movie as if they've loved it forever. I too, unfortunately, have met people like this. I don't know shit about Watchmen, but I also don't parade as if I do.

Fun Fact: For those who didn't know- David Hayter, the co-writer of The Watchmen, is also the voice actor of Solid Snake in Metal Gear Solid series.

"There is a guy with an eyepatch hiding inside that barrel."

>> ^Fjnbk:
This makes no sense. The exclamation point NEVER appears above Solid Snake, only above regular soldiers. Also, David Hayter doesn't scream like that. Solid Snake is also far too resilient to be destroyed with one shot.
But most importantly, Solid Snake is the only Metal Gear character who hides in a barrel, but he doesn't have an eyepatch. Big Boss and Solidus Snake had eyepatches, but they never hid in barrels.

If I could add a comment to a channel, this would be * geek for sure.

Unfortunately, I have to admit, I was thinking the same thing myself.

"For some reason I was thinking of Solid Snake, only more violent."

htx123, I was thinking the exact same thing. The part where it first shows Rambo in the forest sneaking behind that guy, I was thinking Solid Snake completely (come to think of it- probably because an exact copy of that scene was in Snake Eater a few years ago, hmmmm...). But yeah, I was thinking Snake at first as well.
