London Gets a Blowjob Cafe!

worthwords says...

Now that soho is about as risqué as a double decaff latte with cows milk (rather than soya), at least Praed street paddington has a good sexual health service specifically for prostitutes.

I really can't see this happening with the current laws. Brexit won't have a happy ending

time lapse video of the biggest sunspot in 22 years

eric3579 says...

The solar flares are very cool. I suggest watching in HD and full screen for maximum awesomeness.

Also from YT description:

The surface of the sun from October 14th to 30th, 2014, showing sunspot AR 2192, the largest sunspot of the last two solar cycles (22 years). During this time sunspot AR 2191 produced six X-class and four M-class solar flares. The animation shows the sun in the ultraviolet 304 ångström wavelength, and plays at a rate of 52.5 minutes per second. It is composed of more than 17,000 images, 72 GB of data produced by the solar dynamics observatory (http://sdo.gsfc.nasa.gov/) + (http://www.helioviewer.org/). This animation has be rendered in 4K, and resized to the Youtube maximum resolution of 3840×2160. The animation has been rotated 180 degrees so that south is 'up'. The audio is the "heartbeat" of the sun, processed from SOHO HMI data by Alexander G. Kosovichev. Image processing and animation by James Tyrwhitt-Drake.

"No Myth" by Michael Penn

G-bar says...

So, she says it's time she goes
But wanted to be sure I know
She hopes we can be friends
I think, yeah, I guess we can say I
But didn't think to ask her why
She blocked her eyes and drew the curtains
With knots I've got yet to untie...

What if I were Romeo in black jeans
What if I was Heathcliff, it's no myth
Maybe she's just looking for
Someone to dance with

See, it was just too soon to tell
And looking for some parallel
Can be an endless game
We said goodbye before hello
My secrets she will never know
And if I dig a hole to China
I'll catch the first junk to Soho

What if I were Romeo in black jeans
What if I was Heathcliff, it's no myth
Maybe she's just looking for
Someone to dance with

Sometime from now you'll bow to pressure
Some things in life you cannot measure by degrees
I'm between the poles and the equator
Don't send no private investigator to find me please
'less he speaks Chinese
And can dance like Astaire overseas

What if I were Romeo in black jeans
What if I was Heathcliff, it's no myth
Maybe she's just looking for
Someone to dance with

I've always thought this song is so evocative of its subject. I don't just mean lyrically... the whole feel of it. I can clearly picture a cab ride through SoHo (or Soho for that matter), bright lights and all that. Really great song.

Re: The Genji Files

While I don't appreciate the needless name-calling, I still admire your commitment to your ideals. You're not the first to be upset with the inherent unfairness of a human-designed political system which reflects the inherent unfairness of life.

Dirty Harry said it best: I hate the goddamn system, but until someone comes along with changes that make sense, I'll stick with it.

If you think you have a Better Way, then start your own political party. The Libertarians did. The Greens did.

Sidenote: Obama ordered the assassination of a U.S. Citizen WITHOUT A TRIAL OR CHARGES, even.

Couldn't care less. The "victim" wasn't some tea-sipping hipster in SoHo, he was a committed jihadist vermin overseas, networking alongside other jihadist vermin. Don't pity him, he died doing what he loved: being an America-hating muslim shitbird. hahahahaha.

Huge Solar Flare ..up "close"

NASA captures a comet hitting the Sun

berticus says...

"SOHO watched as a fairly bright comet dove towards the Sun in a white streak and was not seen again after its close encounter (May 10-11, 2011). The comet, probably part of the Kreutz family of comets, was discovered by amateur astronomer Sergey Shurpakov. In this coronagraph the Sun (represented by a white circle) is blocked by the red occulting disk so that the faint structures in the Sun's corona can be discerned. Interestingly, a coronal mass ejection blasted out to the right just as the comet is approaching the Sun.

Scientists, however, have yet to find a convincing physical connection between sun-grazing comets and coronal mass ejections. In fact, analysis of this CME using images from the Solar Dynamics Observatory shows that the CME erupted before the comet came close enough to the solar surface to interact with strong magnetic fields."

the news story should be about the parents been Irresponsible ,

You don't take your kids to Red-light district or sohoe (soho in the 80s) and if you do you explains to them whats going on and why those places are different thna other places.

same as if u take kids out skiing , or rock climbing or annything you clealy exsplain to them the dangers of each specific activity.

for the internet its a flat rule that you don't give out your details if i was a parent id go over stuff with the kids , exsplain to them why they should not show body parts , evan if its to a friend or sumone they fancy.

its allso pritty simple to exsplain to them that when people are been provocative its normaly to get a reaction if you dont provide a reaction they will move on , and allso a large part of the internet is not reality.

allso i bet schools dont teach annything about the internet when there should be weekly lessoins on it , not just how to avoid been a retard online , but how to use the internet to educate yourself and learn.
